I have this placement. I would like to discuss it with those who have this also.

-How do you typically express your anger?
-What does it take to sexually turn you on?
-Are you passionate about communication, networking, friends, etc?

Since my mars is in virgo in 3rd house...

I usually express my anger by staying quiet. When I stay quiet... it usually means i'm either mad or you just make me feel conscious about myself. If i'm really mad at the person I blow out of them to. I have Mars Quintle Pluto so usually people don't stay around me if i'm mad. But I don't get mad easily, I have patience for people.

To do that... I don't really know lol. I guess maybe a way with peoples words or hazel eyes. Mostly with boys biting their lips, that really get me or when they smile.

I'm such a quiet person... I guess it's cancer ascendant and capricorn moon, so i'm a little distant. adding on to Aquarius dominant with Scorpio, and Cancer 2nd and 3rd. I guess i'm very distant when it comes to communication. But I like someone chasing me if that makes sense. If you can give me some space in our friendship it'd be nice. I might have a lot of friends but I usually keep some close to me. I'm shy, but it's hard to socialite because I always feel ignored in big group, you'd think jupiter would help in the 11th house but it's in retrograde. But I find it easier to talk to people with the same hobbies and such, but I defiantly know how to keep a conversation going.

When I think of Mars in 3rd, i think of "busyness".

Either the person had many siblings and the house was very noisy.

The person had more brothers than sisters

The person felt they had to "compete" with their siblings for the attention of the parents

The person may have been an only child but so active in extra murals and external environmental life, that they felt that the whole neighborhood was populated with "brothers and sisters" etc.

How would the Mars in 3rd express anger? I am guessing through cutting words, one liners and mean comebacks.

Because Mars is action but is stationed in a "thinking" house, the brain is highly stimulated and the individual can be very good at putting people in their place-with words.

This position is like Mars in Gemini or Mercury square Mars.

What turns them on? Words, words, words. You must be able to express yourself and have a clever way of doing it; sms, lovely written cards, poetry, voice messages or even subtle body language. These people love to be swept off their feet via the brain.

The hands, arms, ears, eyes may be erogenous areas. They can be turned on by a gentle caress in these areas. They may even prefer a conversation to be ongoing during sex.

I enjoy your replies.

HIT - I can cut people with words and "tell them about themselves" if they f*ck up. True! Lol. I am definitely drawn to men who speak & express themselves well, absolutely.

MISS - I didn't really feel like I was competing with any of my siblings growing up. My younger brother also has Mars in the 3rd. As for sex...no I don't want you to keep talking during the act. Like I stated in another thread, constant babbling will make me want to punch a man in his nuts! But I do really enjoy hearing my partner moan or whispering a sexy line occasionally...

I have Mars in H3. Here's the quick overview with more explanation later:

Anger - I repress, then sarcasm leaks out, then I explode with very cutting words.

Turn ons - It doesn't take much (lol), but my relationship must be okay because if I am emotionally shut down, I am physically incapable of enjoying it.

Communication - Yes yes yes! I can expand on this tomorrow when I am awake enough to write a proper reply.

Mars in Scorpio in the 3rd House - semi-sextile Jupiter and opposite MC.

-Anger expression: This is not an easy question, as it depends on the situation and other factors involved as to what I would say. But I express my anger through valid words and reasoning in an argument. Not cussing, though, as that is senseless. I tend to start criticizing things a lot from left to right when I'm angry, lol. Maybe if anyone can give me a scenario, I can answer this question more specifically

-Sexual turn-ons: Apart from the physicality of someone of course. I like the idea of the psychology of the person enjoying the sexual act because it pleasures them, not only because it pleasures the other person. Knowing something turns someone else on sexually about me, turns me on, basically. I can be explicit, but I am not going there on here for obvious reasons. Emotional intensity is a big one as well, not surprisingly, haha. I can also get turned-on from an intellectual connection. Being able to talk about anything and everything... whether that's something intellectual like Science and Philosophy, or everyday things like our problems, feelings, etc. I like it if we share EVERYTHING with each other - I'm all or nothing with trust. Laughing with each other is probably one, too. Her wanting me and would do anything to be with me and actually meaning it, oh geez, would that be a turn-on for me. Also, telling me how much she appreciates me is another big one. I want us to merge our mind and body into a single union... I want all of her, and I want her to give me all of her and to want all of me because I will give it to her. Looking into her eyes intensely, and piercing through her thoughts and mind... imagining what she could be thinking and feeling at that moment is another one. Making her happy, being romantic and expressing my true feelings about how much I love her, and then her being positively receptive to it is a turn-on as well. I like the idea of an all-encompassing love from each other. There are many other things, but I would have to think about it, lol.

(^I would appreciate it of no one quotes that paragraph, as I will probably delete or edit that one because I believe I said too much, and I would like to keep it private, haha. Thanks).

-Passion for Communication: I would say, yes. I like the idea that we can communicate knowledge to help progress the world with our individual ideas. I would say I'm passionate about it because I try to make sure that my grammar and composition are perfect, and explanations thorough... exploring every possibility. I'm not sure if people notice, but I tend to keep editing my posts on this forum a lot. I'm just just a perfectionist with my grammar and communication (this could also do with the fact that I have Mercury in the 3rd House. I also have Mercury in Virgo in the 3rd House in Vedic/Sidereal/Lahiri, and I fit that placement exactly, so that's a thought...). If my grammar is incorrect, I can assure you that I did it correct to my knowledge, so if it was incorrect, than it's because I didn't know it was incorrect. And I encourage anyone to quote and correct my grammar if you please, but only if you know for sure the correct grammar for it, as I want to learn how to do it correctly.

Thanks

I think I was expanding on the Mars in 3rd house concept. There are many interpretations that may/may not apply to a specific person. I get that.

I just recalled that I had my 1st sexual experience with someone who had their Mars in 3rd. I thought I'd add that.

It was very playful. A lot of verbal exchanges, giggling and laughing etc.

It only started to get really heated when in the middle. Then words were just too superficial and "oohs" and "aahs" were adequate.

But afterwards, we were teasing each other on our "performance". I felt like a mischievous school kid that did something very nawwwty!

I have Mars in 6th. Mars square Mercury. I enjoyed this experience very much with the Mars in 3rd.It was so fun.

Mercurian,

Don't delete your post - especially Turn Ons. You completely described not only yourself, but me to a "T". It was perfection! *applause*

See this is why Scorpio is my absolute favorite Mars placement!

I also have Mars in 3rd, in Leo.

My Aries Sun pretty much dictates the way I express my anger and that means yelling, yelling and then some more yelling. But I don't spit venom, I just tell it like it is, in a very clear way. Like I said, Aries Sun.

When it comes to what turns me on, I'd say - words and intelligence. I need to feel that my partner is my equal when it comes to communication. If I can outtalk or outsmart him, no matter how attractive he may be, I'll completely lose interest. I remember one guy who told me he'd spent entire day trying to think of something smart to say to me and that was the end of our date. Also, I don't like vulgarity (Virgo Moon might be guilty for that a bit too), and I love subtle sexual allusions and humour.

Not all that crazy about networking and communication, I'm a bit of a loner (other aspect outweigh Mars in that sense). When it comes to friends, quality is more important to me than quantity. But, I am a teacher and I like gathering information about the subjects I teach and other thing that interest me, which is why I almost always win in Trivial Pursuit

In absolute agreement here.

If you can't keep up with me intellectually, the hottest man will surely become an ugly being to me. I'm Aries also - we can cut people off rather fast!

I don't know if I'll count much, because I have Mars in Cancer in the end of the 3rd house and a lot of places just round it into the 4th house.

- There are two ways: 1) I'll be a little passive-aggressive in most cases. I'll act angry with you but I won't address it first. I'll wait for you to ask me what's wrong and then I'll tell you. 2) I'll just out-right tell you I have to talk to you and let you know why I'm ****** at you. In either case, I'll never get disrespectful, raise my voice, curse at you or say things I don't mean. I don't digress into irrelevant things.

- Touch. Certain words, sure, but touch will really do it. General communication, intelligence and mental rapport aren't vital to sexual attraction but my initial attraction to you in the first place. We'll never be in a situation where you could sexually turn me on if we don't share that mental rapport in the first place.

- Eh. I'm passionate about communication with my closest friends, as in making sure they're vocalizing things with me and talking to me about their feelings, but that's about it. I am passionate about networking but only so I can better myself and build better, more solid bridges for my future (career-wise).

-I think I express my anger physically, not like being violent but by my body language. I cannot explain how much angry I am with words...but you can definitely see I'm angry by just looking at me. lol

-There needs to be air of confidence and playfulness. I don't like too much of a seriousness or too seductive approach as it makes me feel uncomfortable.

-Hmm.. I don't have a wide circle of friends but I tend to be the one to organize meetings and parties between my friends, so maybe that counts? I like communicating through texting much more than speaking on the phone. I also prefer emails...I get so nervous when I talk on the phone for some reason.

I have this placement as well.
I am weird with my anger, I usually bottle it up if i'm in public, let it out harshly (if I am pushed too far and lose my cool) or become passive-aggressive.

Sexually, I like dirty talk, neck biting, light choking and for my partner to be dominant while I tease them. Those will all turn me on.

I'm a receptionist, so communication is very important in all I do. But I also like to do it through out my day. I'm an introvert, but I still find myself trying to communicate and talk to people whether it be through text or online in my down time.
