What aspects between planets in someone's natal chart indicate that he/she will be successful in his/her career? Like, he will be known for it and make a fair amount of money?
Sun-Jupiter, Sun-MC, Jupiter-MC contacts? Ruler of 2nd house aspects the 10th house?
Planets in the fire signs to make him ambitious to succeed? What is the general pattern found in successful people? (not having a particular profession in mind)

I would assume everything you listed. Maybe the MC aspecting prominent fixed stars. Maybe personal planets conjunct MC or in 10th house. Maybe a strong Saturn because it's representative of business and authority.
