When a natal personal planet retrograde turns direct, in the progressed chart. Is the shift of the planetary energy noticeable?

Like with all things related to retrogrades, it's complicated. My pVenus went direct at the age of 29. I stopped dating completely for the next 11 years. I no longer wanted the distractions and drama involved. It wasn't until my now direct pVenus returned to conjunct my nSun that I became interested again (pMars was now also conjunct with them). But then I was more certain of what I was looking for. I've got about 5 more years before pVenus progresses to the nVenus conjunction. pMars is there now, and I've met someone I have high hopes for. Interestingly enough, she was born just several weeks after me, so her natal has that Venus/Mars=my Sun that was my progressed chart from when I was 38.

TLDR... Its not energy you "feel" so much as a change in your frame of reference.
