I recently watched a documentary about the Taj Mahal. I've actually visited this beautiful wonder, and it was quite frankly breathtaking as I walked in.I am enamored by the love story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. I was wondering if anyone ever read their charts to see what aspects they had to have created such an amazing love. IP: Logged |

I would love to see their charts as well........one of my most vivid dreams was of the Taj Mahal before I knew of the Taj Mahal.IP: Logged |

There are conflicting birthdates for Mumtaz...Google says April 6, 1593, Agra, India...for Shah Jahan is says January 5, 1592, Lahore, Pakistan. Capricorn with an Aries? Epic Love?? IP: Logged |

Wow...my sun is conjunct Shah Jahan's?  And I just looked up his chart and we both have Sag Venus and Jupiter trine Neptune in fire signs. Funny because I said on this thread two years ago that my favorite building is the Taj Mahal...and here, I'm astrologically similar to the creator. I'll be darned, shoulda guessed.  He's got a Virgo or Scorpio moon, Cap Mercury, 20 Sag Venus, 21 Pisces Mars, 8 Sag Jupiter, 9 Cancer Saturn, 25 Pisces Uranus, 9 Leo Neptune, 13 Aries Pluto, 6 Cancer NN. If his Pluto was conjunct Mumtaz's sun, his Venus trine her sun...well, that explains some of it.

If that's correct... She has 22 Cap Mars, 20 Cap Jupiter (  good synastry there), 15 Aries Pluto, 16 Aries sun, 20 Cancer Saturn. Saturn-sun contacts can be really binding and in this case it's going both ways. With this birth date she was a Gemini moon/NN and maybe Pisces Mercury, possibly conjunct his Uranus or Mars.
