Topic: which rising sign horoscope shall I read!!??

So im a taurus with scorpio rising... but scorpio falls in my 12th house... and since rising is ascendant.. shall I read saggitarius then? IP: Logged |

No.The cardinal axis are ASCENDANT, DESCENDANT, NADIR, and MIDHEAVEN.
These are the primary angles that are connected to the house, not the house itself. For example if you have SUN conj ASCENDANT your angle would be activated and it would strengthen the effect as opposed to just a regular SUN in the FIRST HOUSE. Even with non-cardinal angles, would this rule remain the same. MOON conjunct a 6TH HOUSE angle from the 5TH HOUSE would act more like MOON 6H. IP: Logged |

In principle, no. But this does not answer the question of what is your correct rising sign, in case you've got a rounded birth time (like 6:00 or 6:30) or a 'cuspy' Asc situation. Thanks for your replies everyone... my Ascendent is at 28degrees scorpio.... im very much a scorpio ascendent... as ive grown older ive become a bit more lughter and optimistic.. maybe thats because of the progressed ascendent is in saggitarius.. i just feel like like reading scorpio rising horoscope does resomate with me but it doesnt quite fit cos its in the 12th house... so things that do happen are hidden... for example my career should be on a high right now... but it isnt..and i am trying.. but a girl i know who has scorpio rising in first house does have career opportunities! So i dunno i just get confused!IP: Logged |

You mean for magazine horoscopes and the like?If you have a late degree asc and most of your houses follow along with the Sagittarius Asc line up then read for Sadge. But your natal Asc is Scorpio. Magazine horoscopes and the like draw their interpretation based on equal houses. So Scorpio's horoscope would put 0 Scorpio on the Asc, 0 Sagittarius on the 2nd, etc., and the transits are interpreted as they fall in that equal house chart. IP: Logged |

Yes this.makes sense. As i also use the equal house system it makes more sense for me to eead saggitarius ascendent rather than scorpio... IP: Logged |
