Does anyone know which type of transits would affect the biological/physical (not psychological) integrity of the brain?

I was thinking harsh transits to mercury, or disruption in the 6th house, but I'm really not sure?

In mid-May of this year, my cousin [just turned 8] suffered from a now-confirmed bacterial infection that have led to motor control and neurological problems [resembles tourette's syndrome]. The incident has been terrible for everyone, his life is constantly full of struggle now. We don't know when he will get better. All they can do is pump him full of antibiotics and anti-tic medication. It's the saddest thing I've ever seen happen to a kid I know.

Transits he received starting mid- to late-May were depressingly consistent with potential neurological health problems that are difficult to classify.

List of transits:

1. Chiron in Pisces transiting the 6th house - Pisces can bring a lack of unknowing, things are foggy or don't make sense. His condition has been said to be difficult to diagnose, it's called PANDAS/PANS and many doctors before the recent ones didn't even know what it was.
2. Neptune transiting the 6th - only made T.Chiron in the 6th even worse, his health condition has been unclear. [He has natal Uranus in the 6th which only makes this combination worse. ]
3. Transiting Uranus was beginning to make a conjunction to his natal 8H Mercury. So as OP suggested, harsh Uranus-Mercury transits are also a possibility. The conj. is particularly potent.
4. T.Mercury in Gemini was opposing his natal Pluto in Sagittarius.
5. T.Saturn was opposing his natal Sun in Taurus.

I agree Voix, I associate Mercury with brain function along with 3rd and placements in Gemini if they're under stress.

I can think of 2 people right now, at the time they became aware of their issue, both brain tumors, the first quickly fatal, the 2nd is seeking treatment.

1) Transits: tUranus/Neptune opp nMercury, tMercury/Mars sq nUranus (Gemini), Saturn transiting the 6th, Pluto transiting the 3rd (sq pSun).
Progressions: pMoon 3rd conj tPluto (1), pSaturn conj nMercury (0), saVenus conj nSun (0), pVenus conj nSaturn (0) (these last 2 I associate more with change in quality of life and relationship satisfaction as a result of the health problem).

2) Transits: tNeptune sq nSun (Gemini), tSaturn quincunx nMercury, tMars sq nMercury, tMercury sq nSun, tSaturn conj nJupiter (this last one isn't brain-related, just a general health alert), Saturn transiting the 1st, Uranus transiting the 6th.
Progressions: pSun conj nPluto (0), pSun conj pSaturn (1), pSun sq nVenus (1), pVenus conj nSaturn (1)
Knowing what happened to the 1st I don't think the chart bodes well for the 2nd, esp since Saturn will opp her Sun next yr while Neptune is still squaring it. At best it indicates a heck of a long recovery time. Neptune is such a ***** .

Thank you SweetScorpion and Lonake, for responding.

I am so sorry to hear about your cousin Sweet Scorpion, so young for an awful experience like this. I truly hope he begins to improve soon. Kids look so vulnerable, but they can be so strong. I hope he keeps his strength up.

Lonake, I am so sorry about your friends, and your loss of one of them. I truly hope your second friend gets the treatment they need, and makes a good recovery.

In light of your responses, I would like to ask if you think these transits could indicate a time of neurological illness:

tMercury conj. nMars (1)
tMars conj. nUranus (3) sq. nSun
tPluto sq. nMars (7)
tNorth Node conj. nMars (exact)
tSaturn sq. nSun (3)
tNeptune opp. nMars (3) nSaturn (6)

Pluto transiting 3rd house
Uranus transiting 6th house

I hope it is not insensitive for me to ask you this, and I understand if this topic is too close to the bone to answer my question.

EDIT: You probably already know this, but I found that Aries rules the head, so that would appear to support Mars involvement.

I also found this:

* Mercury - brain, central nervous system, thyroid gland, five senses, hands

* Mars - muscles, head, adrenal glands, senses of smell and taste

* Jupiter - liver, thighs, feet, growth, pituitary gland

* Uranus - parathyroid gland, neural activity, aura

* Neptune - pineal gland, psychic healing

add to above the placement and transits of asteroid 11314 CHARCOT (neurology)

10 Hygeia (for integration, health)
13084 Virchow (pathology)
19521 Chaos
12711 Tukmit (death, that gives then takes back)

perhaps 5001 EMP?

4581 Aesclepius (doctor contact and,)
4086 Podalirius (ability to correctly diagnose)
2060 Chiron (healer, wound)

Hygeia is said to be Pallas Athene's manifestation as the goddess of miraculous healing

Believe in miracles!
59 Elpis (having faith in possibility of hope)

11911 Angel

... sorry for your losses!

You have mentioned 6th house disturbance but I think that axis as a whole, 12th house/6th house. Something harsh transiting this axis.

Maybe a Sun mercury harsh aspect. Self, drive in harsh aspect with ability to think, communication.

Mirage, and Violet, thank you so much for replying.

I think I can assume that tMercury conj. nMars is strengthened with the conjunction happening in the 12th house of institutions.
Nothing on the 12th-6th axis, however.

And it's probably not great that tAsclepius is conj. nMars (exact), and tVirchow sq. nSaturn & nMars (1)

It's the same planets coming up.
