Probly depends on what else is in the chart. Oppositions can be seesaws or ongoing conflicts, or they can create a beautiful balance...IP: Logged |

I agree that it can depend. I've known Sun opposite Moon folks who totally ignored one planet over the other, and some who found a way to integrate them both well. It depends on their personal development. ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

The person I know with this placement is very out of touch with his true self. I personally think it's because of his Sun opp Moon. (Leo and Aqua...very different energies)Emotionally he is extremely immature. He says himself that he doesn't know how to express his feelings. It all leads to a build up of frustration and then anger. There are other difficult placemats in the chart though so it's hard to tell. IP: Logged |

Awww, charlie I don't think so. But the fact you do is a major sign of self-awareness that can help you unravel what ails you... IP: Logged |

i am extremely self-aware. I don't struggle so much with all my squares, they are fun to overcome, but my oppositions and my Mercury incj. Neptune are HORRIBLE to deal with. I have Moon opposite Sun, Venus, Mercury, Ceres, Saturn and I feel it everyday. My Moon op Ceres is quite strong as I abhor being taken care of and will fight if someone tries. I will however do the taking care of which in return doesn't really fly with my Cappy Moon....and on and on and on and on it goes.. IP: Logged |

I think Sun/Moon people are awesome at having it all seemingly together in PUBLIC (SUN). But when that moon comes out in private, it's a mess. I live with a Sun/Moon man. IP: Logged |

I have this aspect and Im pretty comfortable in my skin. It can't be too bad of an aspect. You'll have to look at the entire chart to know if they are wellrounded . My sun/moon combo doesn't have any stressful aspects... also moon chills in the 9th house. Lol, my hairdresser said he loved my aura..IP: Logged |

I feel with you… it suddenly occurred to me that the oppositions to the moon is much harder to overcome than the squares. The squares are more of an internal conflict, and when you know what it's about, you can work with it and solve it and finally become stronger… but the oppositions? I have moon opposite both sun and mars. It feels like these are external tensions and creates conflicts all the time which I am not aware of or controls, so it really feels like no matter what you do, its impossible to control, because the conflicts always involves others or the outside world. And you cannot control others….. IP: Logged |

I have that. Sun in virgo with Moon in Pisces and one of the things this opposition does to me is that it gives me the perception of two different opposing sides.I could be saying I am an atheist in the morning and in the afternoon talk about reincarnation. I genuinely can see both sides and agree with both sides; I go back and forth and in reality I connect with both views and don't know which is right. IP: Logged |

their needs to belong, safety, nurturing, are at odds with the needs to make a difference in the work, to be unique. normally they struggle with the acceptance to follow their inner fire. everybody has this struggle, but with moon oppose, the struggle is daily and if moon is stronger in the chart the person may become 'adapted' to the environment, but never follow their inner callIP: Logged |

I have an opposition of Sun in early degrees of Libra and Moon in late degree of Pisces, and I can relate to what you said, especially seeing and agreeing with both sides. Except, perhaps because my Sun is in Libra, I find myself constantly striving for balance, and am quite good in facilitating groups to achieve consensus because I can see the commonality in what both sides are saying. I'm more likely than most people (it seems) to see/hear the commonalities rather than the differences. IP: Logged |
