I think Virgo men would like something short and practical, Leo's would like over the top, big and dramatic hair, Libras would like long traditional feminine hair. Aquas would like something unusual and modern/trendy, scorpios wouldn't really care, they might like dark and natural hair though, maybe dyed dark red or some alternative colour. (i think that would go for aquas too) The rest I'm not sure of, this is just my opinion.

Well I would think Libra would like women with longer hair, since that's considered more "feminine" by society/world. And men influenced by Libra like/prefer feminine women... therefore, it makes sense. (Perhaps women having longer hair is naturally considered more feminine and attractive in general to men? Which is why it started out being portrayed that way by the world in the first place).

I can say that this is true for me. I prefer women with longer hair. I'm not a Libra Sun, but I'm Libra dominant.

I was just going to say, if anybody would like short hair it would be Gemini venus - they love boy-ish or androgynous space-y looks. Think Yolandi Visser.

All men prefer women with long hair. Its just more feminine to have long hair and masculine to have short hair.

But one libra man i know really loves long hair. They just appreciate a bit more. They love women with beauty.

Something else I'd be curious about, should any men choose to respond...how important is hair compared to other assets?

For example, speaking purely of the physical, would you prefer a feminine woman with short hair (perhaps like this) and spends time on it or a woman with longer hair but doesn't pay much attention to her hair (or appearances in general)? And how would either compare to a woman with long hair but firm, solid muscles (with tribal tats) of a bodybuilder but also large, firm breasts who liked to wear tight shirts? (I knew one of the last kind, her long hair made me think samurai.)

Also, any preferred styles overall? You can be as specific as you want, though if you don't keep up with that then how about if you prefer braided or not? And if you were say married then would you budget your preferred style if you had to? (Granted, long, luxurious hair is typically going to cost a lot more in time and money so this is the only way I could see it as having an impact.)

And do you associate hair with personality or habits? Is hair more important than say attitude? (That is, if you prefer women who get physical, sporty and/or wild, or conversely as reserved and submissive, would you be more attracted to the hair or actual attitude? Or is the image more important? This assumes the woman isn't "lying with her hair" and what I'm wondering is how much is subconscious attraction rather than conscious, though of course some are concerned with public image than private reality anyway.)

Also, how do you like your own hair? Would you wear your hair long if could?

Femininity or masculinity is not determined by the length of your hair.I don't know your age, perhaps you didn't meet that many people yet, but trust me, there are waaay too many not-feminine women with long hair, and vise-versa

I think you misread my statement. I said its MORE feminine to have long hair, and thats why men prefer long hair. Any man would take a woman with long over short hair. It's just a primal fact.

And I'm 26 and know quite well what men prefer.

You stated that I said femininity is determined by hair length. And i didn't say that. I said its more feminine to have long hair. Does that mean all women with long hair are beautiful? No, but if she is beautiful with long hair she is more appealing to men as opposed to a beautiful woman with short hair.

Yes, refrain that would be smart of you.

Threads like these are annoying as hell. I'll side eye anyone who goes on about that "feminine" "masculine" sh*t and they only connect it with superficial crap like skin color, eye color, ect

I emailed a guy I know when I first saw this as I remembered all his crushes and girlfriend had short (just over shoulder length) hair and I just saw he already replied (surprise)! He said that from a purely visual perspective he was more likely to crush on females with longer hair (and believed most men probably did), however it was such a small consideration as to almost be irrelevant, and that he considered women constantly worrying about their looks to be tiresome, high maintenance, and/or boring which meant that even though he found longer hair slightly more appealing, it wasn't something that kept his attention or interest for its own sake, and he was also able to crush on women with short hair, too, because there is so much about females that attracts him, and that's always been true since he was a little boy.

And as for myself, I also remembered Marilyn Monroe sometimes had short hair. I don't recall anyone saying there was an imperfection (or less feminine) when she looked like this:

But maybe someone alive back then can remember it being criticized at the time (after all I heard one very old man complain about John F. Kennedy needing a haircut if he wanted to the the POTUS, and that certainly never made it into the history books...).

A male Leo friend of mine loves my shaved head. He's always rubbing it saying, "You're going to keep it this way, right?!"... he's obsessed with it.

My husband (Cappy) was initially attracted to me because "you must have confidence to pull off a hair cut like that!"

I know my Leo friend prefers girls with an edgy look (shaved heads, mohawks, etc.) and my Cappy hubby prefers long hair (that is what they have told me anyway).

I can sign that, I attract many libra males and they all like long hair, preferably with curls not just straight.

And I think aries is more like the opposite, they actually like short hair, or whatever looks good on the particularly person.

And those aquas I've known like strange colored hair lol, especially red, but also blue, green, white, you name it.

Scorpio people like dark hair, or at least brown!
