How could the more difficult placements play out in a man's chart?
I've heard at the worst, it'll manifest as a madonna-***** complex, but I feel as though something deeper (Poseidonas conjunct Artemis?) is at play.

I've read that it could mean "having difficulties" with women in general. Or their relationships with women may not be fulfilling.

I think I'm only close with one guy who has the harsh placement - virgo venus oppose pisces moon. His relationships are often sorta "problematic". He once said that they all "feel" that his affection is too "brotherly".

Funny how my close friends all have the harsh aspects (I have the square myself) and in romantic relationships I always feel attracted to people who have the conjunction or trine.

EDIT! Yes, I've noticed problems with women in particular.
And an opposite you say? There's one I know of with an opposite, but 6-12H instead of Virgo-Pisces. Do you suppose it could be similar in a sense? And what do you mean by 'problematic' exactly?

As far as I know he treats women well and his affection is indeed brotherly in platonic friendship. The thing is that women who were with him romantically felt that way too. His relationship always started out beautifully, then all of the sudden s.t just felt "off". The women he was with would feel that his affection was too "brotherly" and that something was lacking, so they broke up with him.

I'm on the fence about the 6h-12th house axis. They are virgo-pisces ruled respectively so personally I think there are some similarities. But according to some texts that I've read, a planet being in a certain house doesn't really mean that it would carry traits of the sign which rules that house. So I'm not sure.

Okay, that seems to be going opposite of 'my' situation. It's platonic at first, but ends up being narcissistic. Artemis is in 12H, which I think adds decepton to the mix.

I have a friend who has Venus and Sun opp Moon. He definitely has had problems with women in general.

Over his life he has dated a lot of women and none ever seem to have been right for him. I don't know if he leaves or they leave. It just seemed to be a revolving door when he was younger.

It's calmed down now that he is older. He seems to have stabilized in that the women are now lasting 3 yrs before he changes them.
