Trying to move on from something and living in the "now" has been very difficult for me. Natally, I have Cancer moon, so I am really prone to visiting the past especially if I have a strong emotional attachment to a memory. My SR ascendant this year is Sagittarius, which is also my natal descendant. I have been thinking too much about the future and I'm getting really anxious to "get there". I feel pessimistic and then optimistic the next. I'm really finding it frustrating to balance these two contrasting energies. A lot of terrible things has happened to me the past month and I'm finding it really hard to get grounded. I'd like to not revisit past memories anymore nor even think about the future. I want to live in the present. How do I achieve balance in this rollercoaster state of mind?

I think your lack of stability could be because your Gemini Ascendant sees the possibility in all things and refuses to tie itself to one.

Also with Virgo on the 3rd house cusp, there is mind that is always the perfectionist; wanting things to go in a stringent sequential order and becoming very impatient and self-blaming if they don't.

And yes,the SR Asc also being in Sagittarius doesn't help much.It just makes you even more restless.

The Moon wants a place to "belong".In your case with the Moon in 1st,feeling comfortable(Cancer in 1st) about the way you look may be pivotal.Or it could that feeling comfortable about the direction that your life is going(1st)is necessary.

Moon in Cancer in 1st also craves security and belonging; sees it as a big part of their personality(1st house). So I would focus on things that re-enforce that feeling of "belonging".

The current transit of Uranus/Pluto in Aries/Capricorn may be wreaking their havoc(I suspect).

Pluto in Cap opposition may make you feel very isolated.Any planet in Capricorn tends to re-enforce that feeling of being alone/ feeling alone.Making personal relationships feel very cold,business-like or even restrictive in nature.Coul you be feeling "ugly" or "old" right now?

Uranus in Aries square may have the impact of having you insist on your own personal freedom. Wanting to follow your own initiative and not wanting to have people questioning you.Maybe also wanting to revive your image but not sure how?

Also, your anger level may have increased Maybe you don't want people telling you what to do and are likely to tell them off (Aries)rather than keep it to yourself and sulk(Cancer)

Hi Solar

I'm sorry to hear about your rough August. I'm a Sag with Cancer rising, your description resonates with how I deal with past issues as well.

For me, I need to focus on something upcoming that's positive, no matter how small. I through all of me into it, if I have nothing personally, I start something.

I'm Canadian so Thanksgiving is in a month, that's where I would go if I had no positive birthdays or activities planned. Could you volunteer? Food Drive, Homeless Shelter etc ... Get away from the area that's giving you grief and be yourself (for me, I love giving)

Seeing the bigger picture helps me move forward or at least forget for a short, then longer time period.
