Hi, I’m a Capricorn - Aries rising, Moon in Virgo - who could use a little insight from you Scorpio ladies out there (and others who are well versed w/that sign). So I met a lovely Scorpio woman a couple weeks ago at a friend’s wedding (Pisces Moon - I think around 10' - and probably Libra rising; she says 3 o'clock at night for a birth time... which I think means 3:00 AM and not 3:00 pm... either way, Pisces moon); she was the maid of honor and I officiated the wedding (Universal Life Church: ordained in 30 seconds!! Woohoo!!). The bride, a Sagittarius, and even more so her younger Aries sister, spent the rehearsal dinner and a lot of the reception setting the two of us up. It sounds awkward, but there WAS a magnetic, mutual attraction. Plus, it was a beautiful night, there was music and dancing, plenty of red wine…
Well, their plan worked... lol. I’ll skip over the details and just say we both felt a sincere, powerful connection.
Unfortunately, two days later, she had to go home and I saw her off as she flew back to Stockholm – yes, the one Sweden. There was talk of how nice it would be if we lived closer to each other but... Talk about long distance, right?
But Here’s where I need a little help:
I really like this woman. When she left I had a few hopes but no expectations... I mean, she lives in Sweden. Honestly, I figured she would slowly stop returning my texts or something.
So far, that hasn't happened. Instead, she’s kept up contact, and this past week we talked almost every day via FaceTime. She scheduled a trip to Canada at a time that overlaps with a trip I’m taking, asked me to sing her a lullaby on my guitar a couple times, introduced me to her best friend on a FaceTime call, and invited me to visit her this November in Stockholm.
My question is, how serious is she? I would usually read these things as her moving towards a relationship – which would make me very happy… But the impracticality of distance and the fact that we've only known each other for two weeks give me pause.
What do you think, do you think she might be for real?
I don't mean to question her sincerity, it's more like I'm waiting for the other shoe to fall. Remember: for a Capricorn anything this logistically impractical, and especially that happens this fast is highly suspect.
On the other hand, we're realists and any TRUE realist has to admit: sometimes life actually does deal you a great hand.
Anyway, please advise.
Thanks!
