Saturn in Leo is in detriment. Fear of not being good enough, trying to surpass oneself and finding it hard to please ( more often than not) a father figure. The Leo sun absorbs the energy of saturn and can become inconsistent. They are not the dramatically stereotyped leos nor are they the cold and rigidly structured as characterized by saturn. They are mature adults at 6 years old and are known to loosen up considerably when they grow older. They were not used to open show of affection in their teens but can turn out to be warmhearted individuals with lots of love to give in their later years. The Leo sun WILL shine through no matter what, it just takes a little more time with saturn. This aspect is felt in a more positive way in later years. Saturn with the moon is a little more complicated. The moon is a moody luminary that only reflects the light of the sun, therefore the way how this aspect manifests itself depends on the placement of the sun. IP: Logged |

How do you think a Conjunction would manifest as opposed to a Square? How different do you think they'd be? I ask because I've seen AWFUL cases of Saturn Square Moon.IP: Logged |

My sister has SUN conj SATURN 0°01' in the 12H, but in Taurus. This pair is opp JUPITER-NEPTUNE (conj by 0°28'), but they are in 6H intercepted Sagittarius. SUN-SATURN trines 4H PLUTO 1°. Pisces MC. SATURN rules 7H/8H, SUN rules 3H.She is extremely stubborn, hard-working, and very unhappy with her job, but unwilling to leave (she's persisted there for 14 yrs). She has a fair intuition when it comes to medical problems, especially for herself and her troupe, but also has quite a lot of them to deal with. She also holds a grudge like nobody's business. The Moon is right next to us, is our closest luminary. She represents our mother, our emotional nature, and stability. She is a very personal planet. Whereas Saturn is impersonal, rigid, cold, and is the furthest planet to the earth. Both the square and the conjunction can be strained aspects depending on the placement of the moon. Actually almost everyone has saturn influencing their moon, if not by major aspects but by honorary placement,or in the dignities of saturn, (or nakshatras that belong to saturn) or minor aspects. saturn with the moon can be very pessimistic, stubborn in their way of thinking, they are very conscious of themselves as individuals, the limitations of life is highlighted, the are emotionally very strong and at the same time very vulnerable, because most of their demons are in their minds. Saturn is a harsh impersonal planet, it restricts the expression of the moon, and also heightens her sensibility. Unfortunately these people are often misunderstood, they do not know how to express their emotions and they may appear insensitive or/almost cruel to others. I know one Moon sq Saturn who used to inflict pain on animals and he used to just watch them suffer. They can switch their emotions off if they have to not by sustaining emotional damage though in the process. however, the more evolved ones gradually feels detached from the pleasures of the flesh, greed, money etc it is a perfect yoga for renunciation. They embrace life in a totally different way. I have to add that NN (Rahu) with the moon and SN (Ketu) with the moon also act the same way especially Ketu with the moon, detachment from the mother, from their native place, from all ties. I have moon saturn conjunction but in leo, and it is very true.. feeling of not bieing good enough for those that you love, for the world, lots of limitations and demons but mostly in one's head. depressions also. but in time it is easier. and I personally think that with time saturn gives the ability to learn how to control those thoughts that are not good for us. The power of mind. I have it in 3rd house so it is power of mind for me now. I used to very controlled by emotions but the negative one. And I had to learn how to use my mind to control those thoughts and feelings and change them. I think this could give maturity, responsibility for other especially, and maybe not so easy relationships with mother or important women.. and also with yourself. it's like it's very hard to love yourself in this nurturing way, to give yourself encouragement and prices and not restrictions rules and punishments. sometimes a man is his worst enemy, but somehow he can't see it and blames others. But us I said it can be easier with time especially after 30, 35. IP: Logged |

I don't like to say a specific aspect is awful. To be honest I don't think any aspects are awful. It is a challenging configuration though. Is that the only strained aspects with chiron that you have? Chiron conjunct SN brings unresolved karmic issues of past lives into the current one. The house position of chiron would indicate in which areas of life.Saturn conjunct NN indicates that it is inevitable, this will be the way forward for you in this life whether you like it or not, you will have to deal with them. There is no escape. Your moon squares them all, so the strain is on the moon. The house position, and sign in which the moon resides would indicate areas of life that will be affected.Do you have squares to the nodes? They represent skipped steps. People you meet that activates these skipped steps will have a significant impact on you in this life. Your relationship with your mother is one unresolved issue that could shape you as a person, your emotional response to others, how you view life at large. You could tire yourself having to deal with your mother during a good part of your life until you realize you can detach yourself, that you have healed. You could then recognize the same wounds in others and bring understand and light to them. With Saturn/sun or saturn/moon the natives find it difficult to PLEASE the people they look up to (unconsciously) especially when young; their parents- the father or the mother if she happens to represent the authority in the house. They find it difficult to blend in emotionally with others, gauche in their approaches and especially when young they face the cruelty of their peers for being 'different' for feeling different. Children are little monsters after all. So these people only want emotional comfort from a source they know well, from their parents. They place lots of expectation on their parents to see them for who they are, to understand their true nature without having to justify their emotions which they are not equipped to do anyway. Only to find out later that their parents just do not understand them, no matter how hard they try to please and no matter how 'good' and responsible they are.Almost everyone with saturn/sun or saturn/moon has issue with their parents, major issues that shape their personality.
