I have my Moon in Aries which Trines Mercury in Sag. When I get really mad, there is no filter and everything I think comes out. I have been told that the truth hurts the way I say it.

I have Jupiter in 11H which Trines Venus in 7H. After 10 years, I can say my husband is still my best friend

Sextiles are only helping you when you're making some effort. If you want something and you're working "we" will help you.
In natal charts sextile also show where you have talent or interest that you want to develop.

Many people do not understand the meaning of the sextile. I was one. The trine is easy to understand. It is an effortless gift. It is grace. When one sees someone who is AMAZING at what he does, for example Stephen King as a writer( he is my favorite writer, by the way), one knows he would have lovely Mercury trines. Mercury is the planet of the mind. In King’s chart, most likely, Mercury trines Neptune, which is the planet of creativity and imagination. My point in bringing him up is that he has natural talent. Natural talent is trines. Explore the trines in your chart and you will find gold mines. You, most likely, know that you are talented in these areas. However, you may never have mined that talent. Do so because it is God’s gift to you.

I should, probably, do an article on the various trines such as Mercury trine Uranus, Moon trine saturn etc but I will do that at a later time, if people are interested. For now, let’s compare the sextile. The sextile is not an effortless gift. It is a gift that is wrapped in extra wrapping paper with many, many, ribbons and bows. One has to unwrap the present to find what it contains. This is the nature of the sextile. The native must force himself to mine the traits of the sextile. They are there but they are not as evident. Hence, one needs to explore one’s chart for sextiles, as well as trines because we all love gifts

The trine is easy and effortless.It feels like second nature.It always is "just right" in execution.

The sextile -like the opposition- is the merging of two differing elements and requires more "effort". But also very worthwhile

The conjunction is like the trine AMPLIFIED-it can go either way; good or bad.

Example.

Moon trine Venus person will simply express gentleness and charm as if they are in abundance.

In a man's chart, this is the guy who brings flowers and does the small gestures to make the domestic life(Moon) more romantic.

These people rarely need coaching in as far as being romantic is concerned.They will have the right amount of charm to be amiable,but not so much that they seem smarmy etc.

Moon sextile Venus person will not be a naturally charming. But will call upon these traits when the need arises.

This is the man who will probably read articles like Men's Health -"How to give her pleasure"/ "10 ways to make her scream" etc.

These guys feel like they need a bit of "help" in balancing the needs of their domestic(Moon) and romantic life(Venus).

They often look for feedback,encouragement and active coaching from the mate to let them know that they going on the right track.

Moon conjunct Venusis the guy who "expects" you to be in the mood when they come home.

If he brings flowers to you and you have had a bad day, he usually doesn't want to hear that he can't "cheer" you out of it.

These guys tend to be a little self-absorbed and self-centered. They tend to project their own needs on to the partner and may feel rejected if the partner is not matching up to their mood at a particular time.

Unlike the trine, they are unlikely to be flexible and "merge" with their partner's mood nor like the sextile, see the partner as a complete person with an independent thought and mood process.

So because of this assumption that you two are working as "one", any reservation from your part will make them feel inadequate and rejected.
