Hi Ami, I read with interest, your posts and find them very informative, thank you. I have a question if you or anyone else can please help me- I thought I knew my natal chart reasonably well but just taken note (after reading this article) that I have Mercury trine Uranus but not in a traditional sign to sign trine. My Mercury is 29°aquarius trine 6° scorpio (from 3rd to 7th house respectively) and I am wondering what your take on this is when normally these two, by sign, form a fixed square. I also found that my Mercury is trine my part of fortune at 1° Scorpio too, an even closer orb. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you  IP: Logged |

Hi Ami, Great post! I am especially interested in Jupiter Trines, I think they are like medallions from our past lives. I never understood them in my own chart, or how to utilize them. I have Jupiter trine Mercury, Uranus and Neptune (Fifth House Virgo to Eighth House Capricorn). Really enjoyed your writings.

I can't see my post yet but just realized I probably wrote 3rd to 7th house trine (doh!) when in actual fact it's 7th (aquarius) to 3rd (scorpio) house trine. Probably not too pertinent to my question but thought I better correct it IP: Logged |

Thank you, P. That means a great deal to me! xx I think trines trump the signs and still act as trines due to the degrees. I don't really work with POF but I need to. I am not sure if trines are counted toward the POF. I would love some info from others on this! Now, trines do affect houses too so the 3rd house is communication and the 7th long term and serious relationships so you may merge these areas well! ------------------

Thank you, A! Jupiter enlarges what it touches in a joyful way in the trines. So your Mercury would have a positive power to it which would make your communication more positive and upbeat.
Jupiter trine Uranus would help you be a more unique person and more able to do your own thing
Jupiter trine Neptune would make for great creativity and great imagination. Very nice  ------------------
