Do you believe its fair to say that people who have saturn conjunct ascedent in the natal chart meet their partner after their first saturn return?

I got married when Saturn was in the 1st house. It looks like there are other cases. However, ended up in divorce. You don't want Saturn in the 1st house.

Yes. I think so.

Saturn in 1st is the internal feeling of being "grow up".

So the Saturn return marks an important threshold or turning point in one's life.

The meeting of a partner is a projection of this energy; you want permanency and more security etc.

So the relationship may not exactly be sentimental. But based in the above principles.

Some of you may find Cap influenced people "sexy" or the ideal partner could have a lot of Saturn influenced planets.

The only thing that may stuff the relationship up or form a real contradiction ,is if there are powerful natal aspects of Mars/Jupiter to personal planets.

Jupiter/Venus natal aspects together with this transit for instance, may result in the individual really struggling with the morose/often taciturn nature of the Saturn partner.

Mars/Venus natal aspects together with this transit, may result in the individual wanting/insisting on more physical demonstrations of affections. Which may not be forthcoming from Saturn.

It's not always that simple and you must look at additional natal aspects.

I have saturn conjunct ascendant from the 12th house. I met my now husband just before my saturn return but it wasn't until after the return that I realized it was pretty serious. Prior to this time, there is no way I wanted to be in a marriage relationship even though I had opportunities with some great people. My hubby has a Capricorn ascendant opposite my saturn.
Certainly nowadays, people are waiting until they are a little older to get married, whether by circumstance or choice, as opposed to people of my mother's generation getting married in their early 20s.
