It just occured to me that I am taking my exam in the Mercury rx period. The exact exam dates have not been announced yet but they will certainly fall within Mercury rx. I might even have Merc rx opp natal Mercury on one exam day.. It will also oppose asteroids like Dejanira and Sado. -_-

This does not look well. Guess where it's transiting at in my chart? Friggin 9th!! At the same time t-Saturn is conj MC. Mercury retrogrades short of a few minutes from conjuncting my natal Saturn.. Gahh. Unpleasant.

Has anyone taken exams during Merc rx? Could it be possible that the retrogradation will enable me to remember things more? Or is that unrealistic thinking?

Yeah, but the overall Pattern is good.

It's just the last of the Uranus/Pluto that is the problem.

First Eclipse looks the best.

This is just the Transit itself, not your Natal.

That Grand Trine Kite Fire is looking pretty good.

Here is the cookbook recipe:

Grand Trine Kite

“For ideas must be made to matter.” This might be the slogan for this person, and of this Chart Type, “The Entrepreneur,” a type that is driven to react to any practical content with ways to improve the situation—always bringing new ideas into the practical sphere.

For one, this person naturally gets the big picture, just taking in any situation, and grasping the overall gist of it. But coupled with this supervisor or overseeing ability is something just a little rare and that is: a constant drive to implement whatever they see in their mind, as practical solutions in the day-to-day world. They can’t rest until the ideas that they see in the overview of their mind are implemented here on earth in a very practical way. Thus, the nickname “The Entrepreneur,” for their natural drive finds them endlessly risking it all to bring something into reality that was only a bare idea before.

Took a second look, and it actually morphs into this one as well:

T-Trine

Here is a very fortunate Chart Type, one that combines both theoretical and practical talent into a single package. This person’s mind is very organized and, in general, they have strong managerial capabilities. They don’t have to study a subject or situation very long to get the gist of it. More often than not, they take it in at a glance, and immediately get the picture, the forest and the trees. This person could be somewhat of a visionary in this regard. I am not suggesting so much Direct Voice (Words from on High) but both clear and accurate vision.

Working in harmony with their fair mind is a powerful practical sense: knowing what to do about a situation. They not only can size it up, but they can move any plan into action—get things done.

So even with the stinkin' retrograde, there's a lot of positive here.

And even That has Neptune in Trine.

Dancing, simply remember you know what you know. Nothing can change that.
Now kick those exams in the butt and enjoy your hard earned good grades.

Thank you, Ellyn, Juni and Vajra! I will try not to think about it, the worst thing I could do is to become prey to the anxiety. I will try my best and accept all consequences - if I must take it again in March, I shall accept it. I have a huge failure anxiety, I've never failed anything academic. Don't want this to be the first, but if that is the lesson so be it. I am much more detached and optimistic in the morning, nights get to me.

This too shall pass, one way or another. I'll bump the thread and share.

Much love returned for your kindness!

Good luck! I am also taking a pretty big exam during the upcoming retrograde.

Some psych tips to ease the anxiety; if you are scheduled to take the test at a certain time of the day, wake up at that time to study your materials. Try to mimic the test taking environment the best as you can, this can ease the anxiety and nervousness. For example, if you are taking it on a Monday at 9am, you could plan to wake up at the time on each subsequent Monday to do a full practice test up until the test date to psychologically prepare. It also helps to do so outside of your own home somewhere unfamilliar, and most ideally if you had the opportunity to do it at the actual testing center would be best.

Some other things that can help, driving to the test center a day or so before the actual test date can ease a lot of anxiety that may come during the day of testing since you will be more familiar of your surroundings and will already know how to get there.

My one last piece of advice, im not sure what kind of exam you are taking and if it is timed, but it is always good to time yourself while you are studying/doing practice problems. A lot of these tests rely on processing speed and just a little bit of that anxiety/adrenaline that you might not get if you are passively studying and doing questions, especially if you only have a minute or two per problem on the actual test.

I hope you do well! Pray for me that I don't procrastinate so much lol.

Thank you for the advice, arcturiann! Not all are applicable (I don't know the location, or the date yet) but I get what you were saying. I hope you do well too!

Haha, I procrastinate so much myself.. Aries Mercury can only work at its sharpest if I'm pressed for time.
