What kind of affect would this have on personality, physical appearance, and the way the person carries themselves?

I have ascendant conjunction chiron… I've heard that these people often have visible scars. I also have visible scars… and tattoos!

I have found this to be bullying, the more exact the conj to the ASC, the worse the bullying.

Tell me if this fits with you

I have it as well. I don't really have a lot of visible scars...There is one large burn scar on my knee but that is usually covered up. Do you know of anything else?

My conjunction orb is about 4 degrees. I didn't have terrible bullying. Some girls were kind of catty towards me and ostracized me when I was very young, but I think that's kind of normal.
I do have some abuse in my childhood though.

Chiron is, first and foremost, the Wounder Healer.

I like Bob Marks description of Chiron in the 1st House; it certainly fits for me. I don't consider that I really have it on the ASC, as it is about 4-5 degrees away, so I can't speak to that specifically:

"Chiron in the 1st house: Chiron here can make you like a knight in shining armor, always ready to fight for the underdog. Usually, while you are doing this, you are neglecting yourself. You could also be a wise councilor (especially in health matters) but you seem to have trouble taking your own advice. A 1st house Chiron can be a gifted teacher, and, of course, you can teach others how to do something better than you can do it yourself. A neat trick to get around this: Give yourself advice as if you were someone else. Then maybe you will take it."

I have chiron in 12th house, not the 1st….

It's true with the bullying thing also. I was kind of bullied when little ---- this can follow you throughout your entire life probably. I have also experiences being bullied as a grown up.

My chiron is also in the twelfth house.

4 degrees is wide with the bullying. When it is very close, I have seen it in almost all cases.

If you had childhood abuse. Check out the Child Asteroid and the Dejanira Asteroid( the victim)

This will show up, often. I have it exact lol

It is not funny, of course. Black humor.

Where can I get a chart that includes these asteroids and is easy to read?

You have to plug the numbers into the chart on AStro.com. Then, the asteroids will come up in your chart.

I have my asteroid list in the Brown Owl School Forum. You can check the numbers on there!

Chiron, depending on the sign, if it is conjunct (within 4 degrees) or parallel the Asc (within about 3/4 degree) indicates a person developing their subtle skills of handling mortality in balance and grace and how to deal with suffering with healing. It can indicate someone who already has innate healing ability, but generally it will indicate someone developing/using it further.

It indicates at the least some sort of physical deficiency or malady, even if subtle/non-visible, that cannot be 'fixed' by ordinary means. Thus the springing up of the self-help movement. Chiron teaches us to help ourselves and have compassion for those who appear 'less than' and use the knowledge we've gained to help others.

Chiron the centaur was a master and teacher of all the natural arts, healing, astrology, as well as hunting. You can't nail this one down to any simple summary, as the asteroid does not deal in basic drives, but subtler story lines.

I have Chiron [5N02]in Aries/7th parallel the Asc [5N30] in Virgo. I was never bullied. I do, however, have a natural skill with herbal medicine that I can recall from at least one past life in China 4,000 years ago. I am here this lifetime primarily as a healer, both in terms of the aspirations I developed as a young adult as well as what feels most natural to me. Astrology is second to that. I used to fantasize about being a teacher, but the public school setting was wrong for me.

Remember, just because a chart shows Chiron on the Asc does not necessarily mean that it is accurate. Using only a 4 degree orb, Chiron falls out of aspect when most such charts are adjusted to their accurate Asc degree. Most charts have to be adjusted more than that on the Asc to be accurate enough to measure such aspects.

I also have 1st house chiron, not conjunct ASC (11 deg), and this seems true to me.

I've also read that it can mean that "wounding" is visible, not necessarily as a scar, but others can see it (on the ASC) and it has some effect on their appearance or the way they present themselves. More details would show up depending on aspects to Chiron/ASC, and the sign and ruler of the ASC.

I think my Chiron was especially activated when I speak in front of an audience. I've only done it a few times, but I made a man cry once. I can feel very powerful when I speak and I'm heard, but I feel like I don't deserve to be heard. I also have a physical disability that was very apparent when I was young but I've learned how to mask it so people can't see; it affects my self esteem a lot.

Chiron is in Gemini, ruler is Rx Mercury in Leo in the 3rd house (Mercury sextile ASC). What adds to that description for me as well is Pisces Jupiter (also a placement that tends to "champion the underdog") which is square Chiron.

My ex has Chiron conjunct Asc, 1 degree orb, with north node conjunct Asc, 2 degree orb, all three part of a t-square and yod. He was not terribly bullied. Kind of reclusive in a weird way, comes across as friendly and outgoing at first impression but actually very loner/homebody at heart (Gemini Asc so maybe that's where the double personality comes in, two-people-in-one). Had some bad things happen to him, having b-day number 29 not helping but in my eyes most of his wounding has been on his own part, self wounding, unwilling to change/take the high road.

Certainly had an easier life than me in many ways.

I have Chiron widely conj Asc (6 degrees) and closely opposite my Sun-Saturn, plus I have a Pisces MC... Idk how it'll happen specifically and it might not even be something I do for money lol but I think in some way I'll end up involved in some sort of healing and/or natural medicine initiative...

Psychically I do have a scar on my face which I got when younger but it's very small and not noticeable to most people unless I point it out
