Recently I've been having some serious conversations with a few people and the general consensus is that my self-confidence and relationship issues might be related to some underlying immaturity.

And these conversations and discoveries have been happening a lot recently.

Seeing as I'm about to embark in my Saturn Return "roadtrip", could these be some warning shots on what I should work on during it?.

Yep. If you can take those hints seriously and actively start working on those flaws before the transit hits you, Saturn transits of any kind, not just the Saturn return, can actually become your friend. They always mark a kind of harvest time; you reap what you sow.
