Hi, I am interested to find out what astrology apps people generally use & how useful they are to you.

The three I have on my android phone are:

Ephemeris- great, free, quick & easy to find out the planetary locations & degrees for any given day.
Transits- great again and free & far more accurate than a general daily horoscope. You type in your date and time of birth but it doesn't however show transits to ascendant or mc.
Planet dance - quite good, although haven't used it that much yet. Shows natal charts with aspects etc and asteroids. Cost $1.50 (I think).

Anyone brought and used iPhemeris? Was looking at this on my iPad but quite expensive at $16.
Or any others that are good? How about a Lindaland app- is that on the cards?

Thanks

I have Iphemeris on my Iphone. It's great for storin charts, has different house systems to choose from, has a built in ephemeris, has a calendar of daily aspects, if you set the settings up you can also see your own daily aspect calendar as well, has a "sky now" feature that displays the chart for whatever the current given time is. You can choose more than 1 chart for synastry comparisons. I'd say it's a really good app and well worth the cost.

I also just downloaded Time Passages. I don't find it as good as Iphemeris, especially because they have all of these extra costs. I do like the fact that it has a glossary of planets/ houses/ aspects/ etc and also gives a "daily horoscope" that lists the personal aspects of transit to natal with definitions.

I'm still on the lookout for other astrology apps as well. I guess I'm searching for the perfect one, I just don't want to pay crap tons of money.

I use "Celeste" which let's me enter natal chart info. If I'm out somewhere & astrology comes up and I want to pull a quick chart it works well! I think it was free? I just screen shot the chart if I want to save it.

Astro Gold! http://www.astrogold.io/

I use it every single day, multiple times per day, so I am pretty sure that my return on investment is approaching "free."

Hey thanks a lot for your replies. Will check all these out. The ones I use are, like the above comment, quick and easy to use especially when out and about.

I had Celeste a while back but I stopped using it because it stopped working, even after the updates. After I upgrade to a new phone I'll reconsider downloading it again.

I use Astrogold.
Pros
- can do complicate chart ie. Secondary progression , solar arc , solar return , synastry chart , transit chart .
- they have full aspect interpretation .
- they have option current transit in the sky which is really fun when you want to predict the furure , exactly time.

cons
- only for Ios , not for android.
- have only <10 asteroid

I want to purchase Astrogold but I want to wait until I have a little more money to play around with first.

AstroTab Pro on android. Very good but not quite great for charts. Only read the interpretations for comic relief, the makers do not appear to speak English natively.
