I don’t think astrology can predict it.

Afflicted NEPTUNE and/or 12R, especially with squares to JUPITER (excess) or SATURN (stubborn). Intercepted NEPTUNE/12R, intercepted sign in 12H.

Energy-wise, 12H MARS, afflicted MARS, intercepted MARS, intercepted Aries.

Anything drug/alcohol/hallucinogen/dreamy has to do with the 12H.

Squines (105°) may factor in, for that lazy-difficult vibe. To a lesser extent, undecile (32°44'), for the fantasy-prone.

Mars in detriment or fall with bad aspects to Neptune. I have Mars in Libra square Neptune in Capricorn. Really lazy. And maybe Saturn and Mars in hard aspect too.

Personally, I'd have to be really depressed if I were to choose to do something like that so I can't help but wonder how many are simply in despair (like drinking themselves to death) rather than merely lazy.

But remembering the few months I spent constantly stoned (though I often loved taking long walks then) I do recall how utterly BEAUTIFUL music could sound (brought tears to my eyes) so I suppose someone with an aspect for wanting to immerse themselves in beauty might do that as well. Just get stoned, turn on the music, and bask in the joy of being alive in such beauty.

When I think of someone as a total lazy layabout I think of someone watching TV rather than smoking pot, though they could smoke pot as well as drink, pop pills (legal or otherwise), etc, but it's supplemental to the ultimate plug-in drug that is TV.

MARS-SATURN is tricky, since it can mean a dedicated and hard worker who follows through to the end.

But I agree about dignities. A peregrine MARS may be an indicator, too.

Even though I use to smoke I was productive too like many people who smoke are as the whole stoner in a coach doing nothing all day is a misleading stereotype. Many successful people smoke.

I am the type that I love lounging around but doing nothing everyday I truly hate that. I like to be productive too, contribute and do something. Also, I dont like depending on anyone financially.

I dont like working all day every day either. I really do value a nice balance. Its a good feeling you get when you have had a productive day but is also bad to be constantly stressed and drained.

Hence although its fun to smoke which I use to do at the end of my day only to set the tone to relax and go to sleep I also like to work and have something to do 4 or 5 times out of the week.

Venus sq Jupiter. Bleh. The people who were just the worst cases have shared this. I'm not saying stoned on the couch. That's productive lol compared to some of these. The egregious kind of lazy, and other negatives too. ....Sun conj Jupiter also, to a certain extent.

NEPTUNE NEPTUNE NEPTUNE NEPTUNE NEPTUNE (AND PISCES PISCES PISCES PISCES PISCES)! I am starting to become so frustrated with Neptune. It's transiting my 1st, conjunct natal Sun, Mercury, Saturn, and Venus and pMars. I have pSun and pMoon conjunct in Pisces. My pASC is soon turning over to Pisces (atleast it'll conjunct Mars). Technically, Neptune has took over my life. I am the ultimate Pisces. ASC, Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn in Pisces and Neptune in the 1st (combination of progression and natal). It's ridiculous! I feel crazy just talking about it! And I am sooooooooooooo lazy. Something cool better happen to me soon with all this Neptune/Pisces, like I spiritually crossover into another dimension and talk to the dead and see ghosts. Seriously...

For me I'd say it's this Jupiter rolling thru my 12th house...I'm really hating how unmotivated I am. I have days where I'm ok, but then there are others where I'm like ugh @ the thought of being away from my bed & house..

Agree completely. IMO, Pisces and Neptune are the two biggest "lazy makers" in astrology.

Neptune has been transiting my Pisces Moon for a while and it is like my motivation to do anything (that I don't absolutely have to) fly right out the window.

All I want to do on weekends or evenings after work is curl up on couch/bed and watch TV or read (or sleep!).

I am hoping my desire to be in the world again returns after Neptune moves off my Moon.

I feeeel you. It's all over my chart. Sometimes I find myself having spent hours laying down and daydreaming and fantasizing. On the bright side, if you already have an affinity for producing art, it's probably the best time to do so. I have been feeling very artistically inspired but way too lazy to do anything about it. Sigh...

Ummm... Yeah... No, unfortunately whatever muse I might have access to for creating art is just camped out on the couch/bed beside me (probably eating popcorn and ice cream).

Neptune is NOT my favorite planet right now!

Neptune square Mars. I've seen it time and again in lazy peoples charts. I have it at 6 degrees on my Mars in 12th. I have a very ambitious make-up but my engines are always difficult to get going.

The laziest person I've met is a Libra with Neptune square Mars exact. Didn't even care to shower or do laundry. Always avoided confrontation through white lies though everyone could see right through it.

I have Neptune conjunct ascendant in 1st house and I'm really lazy x) Though I think Leo Sun and Libra mars have something to do with that too. Libra mars = lots of mental energy, Leo sun = likes to lounge around and be king LOL
