So if a man seem to make it a habit to go for women that are older than him ( around 5 years or more older) is it safe to assume that saturn is in the 7th house?
Or that it somehow aspects the dsc ruler?
or that capricorn is the dsc?

What in one's chart would make it very likely for this person to consider older partner? (and I'm not saying it's wrong or something ..)

I have Saturn(4th) trine Venus(1st, 8th).

The youngest woman I've ever dated was 3 years older than me.

My 7th ruler square Saturn... Not a factor.

It does make sense, venus trine saturn and 7th house ruler square saturn

I don't feel Mars(7th) has any saying on this.

It's more about the trine.

Love(Venus) flows with(trine) Maturity(Saturn)

Yes this really makes sense, I think even if your 7th ruler wasn't square your saturn, you would probably look for someone to provide you with a stable and mature kind of love

The reason I ask this is because someone I know has no aspect of saturn to his personal planets, only an opposition to jupiter and a wide square to mercury but he makes it a habit to date older women 4 to 8 years older than him. So I was wondering since saturn does not aspect his moon or venus what could explain it?

I have actually noticed guys with moon/saturn esp hard aspects between those two planets also have had a tendency to date older women. Capricorn moon guys too.

Moon/Saturn may be some Mommy/Daddy issues.

I see moon/saturn and cap moon does make sense in terms of looking for someone older to have a love that is more mature.

I don't know his ascendant, so I don't know in which house his moon and venus are. I was thinking that his jupiter saturn opposition probably lies in his 1st/7th house axis which would explain this habit?

You also have to take in consideration the synastric aspects.

Ex.

I have my Moon sextile Libra Saturn and my Venus square Pluto with women(82~84).

The only pattern I noticed is having their Moon, Venus or Mars in either Capricorn or Cancer - but usually it's Cancer.

it would be a cancer asc ? Then the 7th house ruler is saturn so yes that would make sense.

Dang if I were a guy I'd have every single aspect pointing to me dating older women

I have saturn in the seventh and I've never really dated anyone too much older than me. I have preferred dating slightly older but 2 or 3 years is the widest age gap I've ever had. I've always been attracted to the idea of dating older people, but whenever someone a lot older (like 10 years or more) has pursued me it's really creeped me out (like to the point of nightmares lol). I'm not sure that saturn in the seventh always means that.

My husband has Cancer ASC/Saturn ruling DSC and I am 18 years younger than him...

I have Venus trine Saturn, my Venus conjunct his Saturn.

Same.

Last guy I dated admitted he crushes on older women, which surprised me because he has no Venus-Saturn aspect. But, he does have Cancer Mars/Mercury. His Venus is in Taurus opposite his Scorpio Moon. Supposedly an Aries ASC.

I'm a Cancer ASC and Capricorn Sun with Saturn in the 7th but I'm not older than him.

my ex boyfriend had...

Capricorn Sun
Mercury
Venus
Mars

And Moon conjunct Saturn I think.

He was so weird! He wouldn't really pay attention to girls our age but he chatted up moms in their 40's. I was 5 years older than him too, and he liked 'Mature' porn... blecccchhhhhh. Still grosses me out, and I have Saturn in the 7th and Moon trine Saturn.

^ That's weird.

My Aquarius brother's wife is 18 years older than him.

But it wasn't like he was *seeking out* older women all the time. She's the only one he dated who was older. And very attractive...I guess he was 25, she was 43 when they got together. It works.

Anyhoo lemme check his chart....uh huh...

-Saturn widely conj Mars in Pisces (his Mars tightly conjunct his wife's sun)
-Cap Venus

usually cap/saturn in the chart draws you to older folks :-) my current bf is 19 years older, and all the others have been 8+ years older. i have a personal planet in cap which i think makes me like older men. plus, the large age gap usually means a venus-pluto conjunction which i like. it might also be that something else in a person's natal chart (a strong venus, for example) likes a dynamic they get from a partner in another age group.

a friend of mine is dating a woman 14 years older than him, but he has nothing in cap and no strong saturn aspects. sometimes it is just chemistry.

Right...sometimes it's just chemistry!

Though...18-19 years is significant because the nodal axis cycles fully in that time span, so I think there's potential for you to look at someone much older and see them as oddly similar. That's sorta what happened with me.
