Quick question. In my 5th house...Which is a stellium house. So on the far left side is Pluto 23 degrees, and Venus in 25 degrees. Both are in Libra, then smack dab in the middle is Mercury in Scorpio at 8 degrees... Then in the far right corner is Sun at 28 degrees and Uranus 25 degrees both in Scorpio. A few years back an astrologer told me Mercury because its only at 8 degrees, its like its a small tiny building in the middle of these large buildings because of their later degrees, so it doesnt know whats going on...

But all the info I find about degrees, it just mentioned that the lesser the degree the more it is like the sign its in, and the later the more it can take on the next sign. Nowhere did I see anything about how it may affect the planets power or strength the way it was explained?

So with the above example, how would a early degree in a stellium impact that planet, if 4 other planets are at very late degrees in the same house?

I've heard that planets at later degrees are more evolved than planets at earlier degrees.

But among giants? Idk. In my chart, mercury is the giant.

Anyway that's just what I've read.
