What causes a person to feel torn inside and like they simply cannot arrive at a firm decision? So that they might decide to do something and then a little while later have an opposite impulse? Are you ever like this, and if so, what in your chart points to this tendency? I'll start~ I have a mutable t-square: moon-Neptune-Mars. I might want to do something like 60%, so I do it, then the tables turn a bit and I wish I hadn't. 'Makes me ineffective and strange. It also makes me unreasonably happy when I arrive at a fixed decision, no matter how inconsequential. Like, if I am happy with a product, I develop fierce brand loyalty and buy the same thing over and over again.

Gemini moon square Virgo mercuryOver analyze, over think... Causing a back and forth. Eventually I do decide and then it's obsession to complete what I've decided. IP: Logged |

Yeah there have been times when I waffled about on the same issue for a long time before settling...Then once the issue was settled there was no unsettling it. Gemini energy is tough-- being of two minds. Gotta get them to cooperate. IP: Logged |

Yup, I can be like this. It can be maddening at times. I have Gemini Moon and Mars, and two other personal planets Mercury-ruled. Sometimes my indecisiveness causes other people to have to choose for me. Or I'll get panicky and choose something else not long after. I don't much like fixed options or decisions, I prefer to play things by ear because I don't always know what I want in the moment, and I know that at any moment I could change.IP: Logged |

Same here. I didn't mention this above but I have Gemini Mars. Playing by ear works best for me...I make "To Do" lists but never check them off methodically...I just do what I feel like doing and eventually it might overlap with what was on the list. Sometimes the list says, "Make chicken casserole" and I end up cleaning the car inside and out instead. Who cares-- something got done.

^^ That might be me? Both dispositor trees are cyclical, with key planets squaring each other exactly. Dispositor "tree" #1: Cap sun (chart ruler) in mutual reception with Leo Saturn Dispositor tree #2: Pisces moon Sag Neptune Aries Jupiter Gem Mars Aqua Mercury Scorpio Uranus Libra Pluto Sag Venus Aries Jupiter ~round and round~ 6H Sun @ 15.50 Cap 9H Jupiter @ 16.01 Aries I've been taking a lighthearted approach on this thread but it's dawning on me that it's actually a sensitive issue. My sun *hates* being ineffective in any way. IP: Logged |

I also have a T-square. But it is in cardinal signsMoon-Mercury opposition. I have to decide between my feelings and practical sense. Many times the two seem very much exclusive. Add to that my Mars in Libra.I can never really make up my mind if not presented with many options. I like having a "choice" etc. IP: Logged |
