...taking into account sun in capricorn while saturn - capricorn ruling planet- is in cancer, its opposite?

He's a coworker whose lately i'm close with, i find his personality intriguing (scratch that, i'm OBSESSED lol). All signs indicate that he also intrigued with me, but lately he seems to want me to be 'vulnerable' / submit to him and be more in touch with that side. I wonder which part of his chart that triggers that? What kind of personality is he, based on the above chart alone?

Usually in everyday life, it's a communication issue, where we keep our emotions closely guarded. A Cap may obsess over you, weigh the pros and cons of a potential relationship, gauge how interested you are, emotionally disengage if you seem unimpressed...all this can go on from a distance, and you won't have the fainest idea. So yes...that can be very puzzling.

If his moon is square your sun it might be really hard for him to figure out your intentions, and he might be holding back because of that. Just a possibility.

thanks. i have a strong cap too in my natal, mars conjnct south node conjunct ascendant in cap, therfore my asc conjuncts his sun that's why i 'get' him he says it himself.

and for sure a cappy would be obsessed by stuff. every sign can be. but would they obsess about a person? probably less so. more of an interest in obsessing over themselves, their money, their career, their persona, etc. not a relationship.

Sorry, just saw this question. With my mars and ascendant on his sun in addition to my south node also on his sun, i just get him. Easily. He even says that too, alot of time. Problem is, being my south node, i feel like he suffocates me sometimes, like nothing in him makes me grow. Fortunately, he has saturn (his ruling planet) in cancer, giving off energy which i like and balances the SN.

Which goes back to my original question. A Cap, with Saturn in Cancer, is a very interesting combination. Would he be original cap (cold, calculating, power hungry) or cancer (nurturing, sensitive, etc). With him, i sometimes see that he would like to 'control' or 'manage' people's emotion. He's an excellent leader of a team in my office, his subordinates always complain how 'tough' he is, but i know that they're loyal as hell and admire him so.

Hmm, she psychoanalysed him and tried to prove to him that she (and her love) were what he needed. I thought that was a bit too much. Turns out I was quite right. He's established and quite content with his personal life so he doesn't appreciate some random person who just walks in and tells him that she's the one and "her way" is better.

Ok so you can feel that sun-SN dynamic? I was curious because I could always feel it, I think...long before I knew about the nodes in astrology.

The Saturn in Cancer people I've known have all had a very warm side which I enjoy. I think it does add some depth and emotional complexity. Hopefully the opposition to his sun won't feel too oppressive...I'm not the most experienced astrologer and you might want to look that up some more.

As for his bossiness ~ I thought all men were that way? ...

j/k Well there is a way to command respect so that the job gets done and people don't mind carrying out your wishes...if your guy can do that, I wouldn't see it as a red flag...it actually sounds nice.

You asked about my ASC-sun conjunction with my husband. I think it makes us a little bit similar. We are so opposite in so many ways that just having a bit of similarity has been helpful-- I think we've gotten past many obstacles with the help of this aspect.

People tend to look at us like we're odd because he is much older. But, for example, at a party one time, I just remember he and I deciding at the exact same moment to stand up, step over, and push in our chairs, and I forget what else but it all looked so choreographed and I was feeling vindicated a bit like, "See, you can't fake this."

(And no, Bella, we were not practicing that maneuver in our living room before going to the party...)

Not positive if that's a sun-ASC thing or just what marriage does to people...but it's what came to mind.
