My husband has 6 retrograde planets. I have been studying his chart for how long and I JUST NOTICED THIS?! He has Saturn, Neptune, Mars, Venus, Pluto, Uranus, and Mercury all retrograde. He has always seemed so backwards to me.

His retrograde Mars is in his 5th House. My Sun trines his Mars though! When I realized this I was like "OH MY GOD THIS IS WHY!" - So it literally takes ME shining my little sunshine on his Mars to get him "going". I find myself constantly almost being his authority on how to use his "energy". He actually needs this from me, and asks for this from me. Now I'm bossy and like to lead, so this works for us. However sometimes I don't feel like he is "manly man" enough, and it will get under my skin. We also have a Venus/Mars conjunction but I am the Mars and he is the Venus. He can be very lazy at times.

In the bedroom, he very VERY rarely initiates. His "style" is extremely connected though. Best of the best that I have EVER had. It's not like he is totally devoid of connecting with me or being passionate, it's like I have to know just the right way to access him & then BOOP! There he goes.

He has told me that in the past, all his old girlfriends thought he was asexual. Nearly every woman he has ever dated has cheated on him. He has a hard time connecting with people in general. I wont lie, I have MANY times wondered what the heck is his deal. He has literally said to me before, "I could just go without sex, it's just not a big deal to me". Well there's some Retrograde Mars in the 5th for you!

Now I was really curious to see when Mars in particular would go prograde in his progressed chart. Oddly enough, this time exactly (end of Oct) in 2019. I am SUPER curious what he will be like when Mars moves prograde for him... hmm...
