Here's a more modern classical piece, Sibelius' Concerto for Violin and Orchestra with Ida Haendel. This is pure, pure genius, both by the composer and by the soloist.

This is one of Amalia Rodrigues' most touching songs, recorded in the last stages of her career. I can't even describe the level on which this song touches me on. Amalia was a singing genius the likes of which the world rarely sees.

I studied her chart for months, trying to figure out what gave her that kind of immense talent. Time of birth is unknown, unfortunately, and I have been trying to guess her AC. I settled on Taurus, which would put the Sun in the 6th or 7th, and Uranus on her MC. I'm really not sure though.

Now, I really love music that has really interesting, meaningful lyrics. Alt-rock music, mostly. I love alternative music because the lyrics are so complex. You have to take some time and dig deeper and really try and figure out what it means. And that makes me want to listen over and over. And that's so my 8th House Virgo Venus. I also love really emotionally powerful music, of course.

Personally, I enjoy songs that get into my 'pores', so to speak. The voice, the lyrics or the beat must be POWERFUL - or else it's total garbage to me. A song that delivers all (3) gives me a spirit-gasm and I just eat it up!!!

I like my music to be bombastic, loud and generally sounds like alot of time and passion has gone into it. Also like songs that are really long and technical (progressive)
