I've been a hermit and I don't know why, really. Usually I'm always up for going out spontaneously and encouraging friends to come with but since August or so I've just been feeling so stressed and alone (but not lonely). When I get the chance to go out now I turn it down or I'm too tired or I just don't feel like it. I'm seriously wondering if I'm depressed and just don't know it. Would Saturn transiting Scorpio in my 6th cause this since 6th rules "every day" things? It's closely aspecting t.Moon too but I'm not sure if they're conjunct.IP: Logged |

What other challenging aspects does transiting Saturn make? And what houses do the planets rule? Are you putting in more hours at work? Or do you generally just feel very tired? Transiting Saturn in 6th can make one less enthusiastic about social stuff-especial if they are focusing on work- that "partying" tends to make them feel guilty i.e "I should be at home getting some rest for that big meeting tomorrow. Why am I here drinking as if its the week-end?" etc. Also,I tend to play around with the axis points i.e whatever affects one house will affect the opposing house etc.(1/7th,6/12th,4th/10) etc. So if Saturn affects your 6th(work,physical condition),it would also play havoc with the 12th(mentality). So your feeling tired and not a good sport for social functions could have you also being depressed and feeling very isolated from others(12th). IP: Logged |

YES. And yes I feel so tired all the time even though I'm getting 8+ hours a night. How long does it take Saturn to transit through a sign? IP: Logged |

It's making minor aspects to my Sun, Mercury, and Venus (so minor I don't even know what the symbols are) BUT it's conjunct my n.Pluto in the 5th, which opposes my n.Moon in the 11th.IP: Logged |

I have Saturn going through my 6th now and I haven't noticed anything that adds a hermit experience. Though, I have always enjoyed my alone times. I guess it would depend on a variety of factors. What Saturn has done for me was to highlight my medical issues and finally come up with a diagnosis. I have a better framework to go by so I can adjust my lifestyle etc. Before that, I would go see the doctor and be told they can't find anything wrong with me. Also, mentally, it was determined that I suffer From PTSD. Which kinda slays those dragons I have been dealing with.......acknowledgement helps IP: Logged |

Saturn transits take about 2 years(give and take a few months). Saturn conjunct natal Pluto is one tough aspect. If Mars is fire,Pluto is a laser beam.Pluto effects can cause long-term upheavals, reform or destruction. But these effects show themselves up very slowly- especially in the area of life that Pluto rules(Scorpio cusp and to a lesser extent Aries cusp) But I don't think that the conjunction would make one a hermit. A painstaking detective YES. But a hermit? No. So lets say that pluto rules the 8th house. The conjunction of Saturn to Pluto in eigh house suggests that one can grow increasingly agitated/wired up (Pluto)with their sexual needs not being met. At first they will not say anything(Saturn); repressing their feelings and growing ever more resentful of the partner. Then finally(especially upon the retrograde hit of Saturn),implode and make very radical/drastic changes to the relationships that changes things permanently(divorce, moving out, starting an affair) etc. If one does not have the patience(Saturn transit)to work at rebuilding the castle of the intimacy level of their relationship (Pluto in 8th). This transit could spell the END of it. The transit of Saturn opposing your natal Moon could be it. Usually this transit can make one's interpersonal relationships (Moon)cool off(Saturn). There could be a feeling that the people intimately connected to you(Moon)are detached/hard to reach or simply do not understand you(Saturn). And that you have to work that much harder to keep them in your life What house does the Moon rule?Look for the Cancer house cusp. That's where you are likely to feel most isolated, demoralized and "iced out". IP: Logged |

Cancer rules my 2nd house technically, but a lot of it is also in my 1st. Scorpio also rules my 6th. I haven't been a painstaking detective...at least not yet. I wouldn't really notice if I was because I'm always like that anyway! IP: Logged |

Now that I think about it I did decide not to renew my gym contract and I'm looking for a less expensive one. I really want to hire a personal trainer but my mom wants me to focus on my diet first. I've been itching to be active though, more than usual. I'm also getting a lot more into fashion (thinking of 6th house things, Virgo things) too.IP: Logged |
