Topic: How does one get over Moon in the 4th?

I feel stuck. Nothing matters to me outside of my immediate family, even though they're abusive both physically and emotionally. I've also got Pluto in the 4th (in Scorpio of all things) and I feel like my self worth is directly tied to my family. My dreams, my destiny, my soul rests with them. They keep my childhood alive, the only place I've felt like a part of God.

Aw, I'm sorry. Yes, it's extremely difficult for 4th House Moon people to break away from the family influence, even if it's no longer serving their lives. This position is a lot like Cancer Moon, in this way. But, if their influence is that unhealthy, you have to find a way to put some distance between you and them. It's understandable that you love them but you have to learn to take good care of yourself, which is a 4th House Moon theme. They do not have to define you like that. You belong to yourself, first and foremost, and your soul belongs to you, not them. Don't let them control you and seek your own emotional well-being. ------------------

Scorpio Moon in 4H....I shuddered just thinking about it :-/ No offense but I'll stick to my Cappy Moon all year long instead. Having said that, your Scorpio Moon SHOULD be able to take you out of there and transform you but perhaps you are currently at a low level of transformation and thus revel in misery?
