Hello lovelies!
These past four and a half years I've been through incredible though scary and quite painful events at times. This has been a very transformative time though and while I felt I have failed in some regards, I ultimately learned that changes and growth involve different steps, and that success is not the end goal for me, but it is a process.

I redefined lots of things and finally, at last I am starting to feel a bit in peace...but, having such a heavily Virgo-tinted chart I can't help but anticipate my Saturn return which is scheduled to happen from March 2018 to Decembe 2018 (why are they different lengths for different people?).

Anyway, my question is, how to prepare in advance? What are the lessons I need to learn? Where to find guidance? Any experiences and stories you'd like to share? I'd love to hear them!

Thank you!

Hey there,

I'm currently going through my Saturn Return. The fact that you've gone through a lot of changes already and are starting to be at peace is a good sign that your Saturn Return probably won't be filled with tons of upheaval.

Basically, the Saturn Return forces you to grow up and get on track. This can be a very painful and eye-opening experience. However, if you've gone through your growing pains and focused on becoming responsible, then the Saturn Return can be a time of achievement and joy. You will still be expected to work (Saturn doesn't tolerate slackers), but your work will be fruitful.

The lessons you learn will depend on where Saturn is placed in your chart. For instance, my natal Saturn is in the 10th house (career, reputation). I had to travel a long, hard road long before my Saturn Return in order to get on the correct career path. I settled issues with my career planning already, so the only thing with my career that has happened thus far is I received a raise. That's it. Nothing notable in regards to my career has happened because I've previously worked hard to learn my lessons in this area.

My only other big life change is house hunting. My Saturn Return is apparently going to end in early November according to astro.com.

I hope your Saturn Return is peaceful. It sounds like there is a good chance that it will be. In the even that it leads to more struggle, the best thing you can do is go with the flow. Don't resist change. Work hard to achieve your goals. The worst thing you can do is to be lazy. This is your chance to truly become an adult.

Good luck!
