So I kinda like some stuff I read in his book. But I got kind of confused and raged a bit on astrology when I read stuff like: The North Node has to be treated alone, aspects have not to be considered on the NN/SN only the Sign and the House Placements - I always thougt it was like this: Cancer-Lake, Scorpio-River/Waterfall, Pieces-Ocean. Aleister says this: Cancer-River/Waterfall (Cardinal, the most active), Scorpio-Ocean(If I remember it right(like a mix of bouth)), Pieces-Lake So there is a brute contradiction to modern Astrology, Is Crowley outdated? If so should we not concider any of his Works? How come Astrology can change from "left to right" so fast? IP: Logged |

Maybe I have mistaken Scorp and Pieces, what you say about it makes sence. And maybe my Mother is mistaken when sche tells me that Cancerians are related to the Lakes. And the NN think, that is what made me close the book and get angry. xD IP: Logged |

I've always likened all 3 of them to be different parts of the ocean as they all could represent it. Cancer would be the motion of the ocean, the ups and downs of the waves and the tides. Scorpio would represent the deepness of the ocean and just how hard it is to go down there. Pisces represents the vastness of the ocean and hence a lot of feelings etc.IP: Logged |

Yeah, I don`t know him that well, just ran over his book and started to read my aspects in it (the one where he talks abaout neptune and uranus) I liked what I read and that he also likes baudelaire xD So I started to read it from the beginning and ran over this contradictions. He for sure has a old dated astrology reading(Saturn = Bad), but I also belive he was kind of a rebell and maybe a pioneer on new thoughts about astrology The NN stuff still intrigates me.IP: Logged |
