Are there any houses (other than its own) where it doesn't inflict bad health? What I am reading on the web seems so terrible and morbid.

quote:

Ruler of the Sixth House is in the First House
Delicate health, or illness caused through excesses.

Ruler of the Sixth House is in the Second House
Personal merit jeopardized through ill-health, or, illness caused through pecuniary troubles.

Ruler of the Sixth House is in the Third House
Ill-health of those around the native; domestic troubles.

Ruler of the Sixth House is in the Fourth House
Illness in the home, affecting either the native, the wife, or those with whom the native lives.

Ruler of the Sixth House is in the Fifth House
Temporary ill-health through excesses. Happiness jeopardised through ill-health. Illness of a child.

Ruler of the Sixth House is in its own House
Good health if the Ruler of this House is dignified; illness and domestic troubles, if it is afflicted.

Ruler of the Sixth House is in the Seventh House
Troubles, lawsuits and worries caused by servants or employees.

Ruler of the Sixth House is in the Eighth House
Serious illness affecting the native or someone dear to them, according to the aspects.

Ruler of the Sixth House is in the Ninth House
Worries, a troubled state of mind; the native does not view things in their true perspective.

Ruler of the Sixth House is in the Tenth House
The health is affected through business worries; overwork or unfortunate speculations.

Ruler of the Sixth House is in the Eleventh House
Ill-health of a woman. Domestic troubles through an association.

Ruler of the Sixth House is in the Twelfth House
Danger of an operation. Admission into a nursing home, or clinic.

I am asking because I've not been feeling "right" and without any specific symptoms to list or health insurance, I don't just go and get checked out because I have a bad feeling.

The ruler of my 6th is Capricorn and Saturn is transiting my 4th house. Does that always mean illness affecting someone in the home?

Furthermore, Saturn is a SLOW moving planet, so are we talking long-term illness as opposed to acute illness?

They Virgo in me is coming out. *lol*

I could say a thousand things but it wouldn't be really necessary.

So...

* Better start to worry when it transits 6th or 12th.
* In ANY case, you can't expect to be healthy without being in movement. So start to working-out from time to time and Breath a lot! ( if you already do, then nice! )
* Don't eat too many acid things, consume Alcaline.
* Try Homeopathy
* Sleep Well

~ And nothing bad will happen.

I do all of those things except sleep well. I've had a hard time with sleep my entire life.

Just by going into a house does not bode ill. One has to say what happens to it in the house imo

Put up your chart, Geeky. I really want to study medical astrology but I am not good at it now. However, I did help someone and did see her issues exactly right so maybe I can help.

Listen to your instincts. If you feel that something is "not right", your body is telling you something. Explore it further.

Astrologically, the 6th house tells you how you take care of the small things in life. The human body is very complex and, to stay healthy, you need to do a lot of little things every day to maintain your health, and be dedicated to it. You can't take the weekend off from your own body. That's why H6 indicates the health, as it shows daily habits, which compound into your general lifestyle, and thus your health. Your RH6 is square your Moon(the body), so maybe you haven't been taking very good care of yourself in the sense that you put your obligations before your own emotional wellbeing, and now that house is off-balance.

Also, I'm sorry that this is off topic, but how was your 29th year? I'm asking because I'm curious about what happens when a person's progressed Sun comes to their Pluto, your chart is a really interesting case!

Oh, I find this topic quite interesting!
Some really good questions here.

Dear Geeky,
I lack the time these days to give you the response you deserve, but I'll be back later with a big part of the 'puzzle' I've noticed in your chart.

@ Libran Dream - My 29th year was meh. That was 2007-2008.

2004 through to the end of 2010 were very unstable years for me. My marriage was a mess (2010 is when I finally threw him out). We spent a lot of time homeless, moving from friends' couches and basements to our vehicle or hotel rooms because I worked, but he didn't. We never had enough money to pay for rent, utilities, etc.

I didn't feel loved or safe, AT ALL. It's amazing my kids survived all of that without too much trauma.

2011-2012 was rough too as I tried to pick up the pieces. But, at that time, we (me & the kids) had settled into a rental house and I've been here since. I was late on rent a lot, but they never threw me out.

The second half of 2012 is when things started going my way on all fronts (career, money, love).

@ GemBird82 - Thanks!

I have always put my obligations first. I don't even know how NOT to.

Time to learn, eh?

Hi,

Well, first of all
• Let's remember that we are talking about 'possible' future events.
• The detonating factor of an illness quite often is ocasionated by a natal 'special-weakness' (sensitive points in the Natal Chart) and this is when things get quite interesting, because:
• Those weak spots, very often coincide with the hereditary nature of a miasma (as it's postulated by Homeopathy).
• Karma should be seen as a personal responsability and not like an 'ethereal', non-real kind of belief.

Having said this,

• 1. Our actions play a BIG role in the moment we get ill, such thing as bad Luck, God's punishment, etc may only be excuses. Keywords here would be: Assuming responsibilities - Self-conscious behavior analysis.
Homeopathy postulates that there are no illness, but ill people.

• 2. Some 'debts' come from long ago, so long ago and in the moment we born we already come with them. Sometimes our whole Linaje carries some of these debts. It's not THAT bad, I'd say it's very common.
So, it's actually kind of complex to say that it's our fault, or it's not.
It doesn't really matter because it's already done.
What matters it's that this should never scare us or confuse us, because it's part of the human condition.
Fear is never an option.
Of course, all of this can be seen in the natal chart(s).

The mind always needs little peace to keep Healthy, but our mind often is binded to rational and cotidian activities. Hence, it can't have enough peace and when a person (as a whole) is too involved in material/physical issues, activities or passions... we may not be living properly or at least not as our body deserves.
This is Key, because:
Once mind heals, the body follows the Healing process.

Dear Geeky,

All this I've said it's not about you, it's just a simple explanation about how some things work.
I'm just going to give you fragments of the puzzle, because astral objects only predispone.
As I always say, you already have the answer for your current Health, in Yourself.
======================================================================================

~ About house Lords and your 1st House.

(Sun) Your Lord of 1st house falls in 2nd
And your (Mercury)Lord of 2nd falls in 1st

* An interesting exchange.

(Saturn) Lord of 6th falls in 1st too.
-----------
At this point I'm asking myself what kind of job or career have you chosen.
Because this tells me about uniqueness and skill above the simple activity of making money.

I've got the feeling that financial gaining is not the only thing that bothers you.
It's about how well it's done, about showing skill.
If your work doesn't have that special value that makes it different and unique, then what would be the point of doing it?
I think it goes beyond simple and common pride.

Of course, it demands a lot of pressure.
======================================================================================

~ About Karma and what is unconscious and remains hidden.

As you may know,
There are some houses that tell us about Karmic debts and our immediate past incarnation.
Just as laws of cause and effect (which is another explanation for 'Karmic'), they make their influence in the current time.

(Moon) Lord of 12th falls in your 4th House
(Neptune) Lord of 8th falls in 4th too.

(Jupiter) Lord of 4th(IC) falls in 12th.

--------

And Something interesting I noticed:
* If I'm not wrong, your Draconic Sun would be Pisces, not Virgo.
* Wich means that your Draconic Sun falls in your actual 8th house.

Interesting, because your South-Node also falls in your 8th House, and it's in Pisces.

So, taking in count all I've said above.
It looks like so long ago, you were a very very emphatetic person and also compassionate, but very indulgent with yourself.
You didn't work so much and if you did, you didn't put all your effort and didn't pay attention to details.
But there's also an inheritance factor here. ( Lord of 8th and 12th, both in 4th )
It looks like working night and day wasn't really necessary for you in that time.
You had the blessings of your family. So, any excess of effort wasn't present.

This is clearly what keeps you in motion today. Source of your effort.
Because present is absolutely a consequence of the past.

======================================================================================

~ About aspects and transits.

At this point, you may be noticing about some unecessary Karmic traps that obviously you don't need.

Saturn's cycles are totally Karmic, specially the 90º ones.
You already completed your 1st Saturn Cycle, and now what follows is the next 90º aspect between its original position and the transit.

Keep Calm and Read carefully

• It will be a great time for Health improvement.
• Because you'll receive the help of Jupiter in your 1st house.
• You may get tricked but Mars when it enters in your 6th house. It will be a tricky Mars.
The influence of Saturn in your health will only manifest if you torture your body with cotidian, material and job issues.

Because,
It will square your natal Lord of 6th. An square between natal Saturn and the transiting one.
Then Saturn will conjunct your Moon.
Then it will conjunct Neptune.
Then it will leave in peace.
-------------

So, taking in count these transits and the Lordship of the planets/Luminaries.
Some symptoms that might appear are.

* Fluid-Retention problems (Moon)
* Dysfunction of the digestive-system (Moon)
* Lynphatic system problems (Moon as Lord of *12th/ Neptune)
* Presence of Toxins in body (Neptune)
* Large intestine can't eliminte toxins properly (Neptune, as Lord of 8th)
* Health issues in Mother, wife or Mother figure (Moon)

• But just as I said, you'll have the help of Jupiter in your 1st House and after it leaves, it will conjunct your Sun, then North Node and the other personal planets .

So please, DO NOT fall in Karmic traps and there won't be big problems for you.

Live well and Sleep well.
~ Good Night,
Bye!

Just looked a bit and will have to come back tomorrow. The Ruler of the 6th squares quite a few planets and these would be rulers of other houses, so I will come back tomorrow and look when I can devote more time to it xxxx

Actually, it seems to just square Ruler of the 12th cuz the other square is very wide. So, this could indicate that illnesses could be hidden and hard to figure out.

This is just me but I am very, very natural. Fasting, juicing, herbs and things like this are really good things to do when one does not feel well, as I see it.

I have worked in natural health for a long time

My fave resource is the book "There are No Incurable Diseases" by Dr Richard Schultz.

If I had medical issues, I would follow this book

The ruler of the 6th squaring the Moon could bode for struggles with Moon areas which would be the stomach and the breasts.

Are these areas for you that are "illness prone"

I'm a stereotypical Virgo health nut... it's probably my strongest trait from my sun sign.

In the last 5 years, I've...

- gone organic when possible, "natural" the other 20% of the time
- changed to gluten free (celiac disease, probably the stomach issue you see)
- gone from vegetarian to vegan
- gave up all forms of caffeine (even chocolate because I am sensitive)
- cut back my sugar intake drastically
- went from Coca-cola to natural soda to no soda at all
- lost 60 pounds
- started exercising
- cut all eating out (I had already cut fast food 7 years ago, but I cut out ALL restaurant food last year)
- cut nearly all processed food and went towards more raw foods.

I never smoked, drank, or did drugs (prescribed narcotics or street) so I was already good there.

I haven't taken an antibiotic in 16 years.

I haven't even needed OTC antihistamines in a full year (and I used to suffer from hay fever badly)

I think I'm definitely on the mend as far as my overall health goes.

However, I'm not into juicing because I have fructose malabsorption (lactose intolerant too, seems to go with having celiac).

I had zinc depletion and anemia for a long time without knowing, am a vegetarian too, and it helped a lot to finally find out about the problem and take some minerals and vitamins to get back into full health.

It's possible, but I take a supplement and I drink real mineral water every day. I am definitely going to go through Direct Labs to get a basic check first.

Edit: Three of my female relatives just tested positive for Von Willebrand disease (in the last two months), so I am worried about that too.

I see a very strong Saturn in Virgo in your chart.

Virgo being of a nature that is adverse to excess, fits very well in Saturn. The planet of limitations. This gives you great discipline and self- control indeed.

Now Saturn in Virgo aspects the Moon by square, Mercury by wide conjunct and Venus by a supportive sextile.

The Moon/Mercury aspects suggests to me that the discipline applies to the self in everyday habits(Moon) as well as everyday thinking(Mercury).

Maybe you are conscious of what you eat a lot and have done it for so long so well, that it has become 2nd nature.

You may not understand people who say that they want to start eating s well as you do, but maintain habits that are counter-productive.

You may be very proactive in finding alternative ways of feeding your body more healthier options- judging by the post.

Now interestingly enough, the sign on the 6th house cusp is Capricorn. And the ruler is Saturn.BINGO!!

6th house cusp in Cap takes a serious approach towards health issues and since its ruler(Saturn)is in Virgo, you don't ease up.

6th house ruler(Saturn)in 1st suggest to me that health issues define you. Body image is very important.

I agree with everything. Although on this point, it's not so much my body image as it is me wanting to prolong my health as far into my elderly years as possible. I don't want to live on pills.

My maternal grandparents were sick starting at 35 & 40. They died at 60 & 62 (heart disease, diabetes). They raised me, so I watched them take upwards of 20 pills a day (each) and I watched them die a slow & painful death because of their dietary and lifestyle choices. I gave my grandma her insulin shots and when she died, it was her third time having congestive heart failure right in front of me. I was 17 the year they died and I'm not sure if I'm sad or angry.

My paternal grandfather had high blood pressure, brain tumors (non-cancerous) and several strokes. What ultimately killed him was severe anemia. He died in his early 70s.

I don't know much about my maternal grandmother (very long story) but as of two years ago, she is still alive (and was significantly younger than my grandfather). She is approx. 71-72 years old. I have no idea if she has any health issues of her own.

I know I can't escape death, I just don't want to directly contribute if that makes sense. The gene pool is dirty... I don't need to pee in it. And more importantly, I don't want to burden my kids or their kids.
