I've got Saturn right on my DC and it makes all these squares to my Sun, Venus, Pluto.

Does this placement indicate relationships which will burden me in all of these areas?

Self esteem, sexuality, power?

It's difficult for me to make and keep friends. As soon as they notice how much I need them they make me feel replaceable and second best.

They're often cold, pragmatic, judgmental.

I'm always that hot mess of a friend that they 'put up with'. I almost feel like their unloved child...

Saturn on DSC could mean that you long for someone who is mature and serious

Saturn squares in natal are very difficult, I have it square my moon and venus, and I pretty much struggle with self esteem. You, really not alone.

I have Saturn opp AC and I take partnerships very seriously. I don't find commitment at all a burden. I need some who is also just as committed. But that doesn't mean I don't want fun!

I don't have the rest of your squares however. Jupiter and Venus (wide) are opposite/conj AC.

No self-esteem issues. Power? Well, I don't have any particular power issues, though I notice I don't have a problem allowing my partner to make most of the decisions. That's probably more to do with my highly mutable self and my indecisive Mars rather than Saturn.

Sexually? Don't know what to say about that. Is that any of Saturn's business?!

It was a reference to my Saturn-Venus square

The square aspect of Venus to Saturn can do that.Make a person feel unloved.

The fact that you are applying yourself so much in relationships ,suggests to me that the transit of Saturn will have you reap some very valuable insight in this challenging part of your life.
