What house system does everybody use?
Im curious because i always used the default system but after lookin at the equal house system it puts my sun and pluto in the 10th house and moves my mercury to the 11th house and moves jupiter from 8th to 9th now im confused on what houses my planets are exactly in

What house system do the more experienced astrologers use?

I have come round to Equal.

Linda Goodman used and iQ uses Equal.

Placidus.

It is the most accurate up to 66* north/south latitude (birth location). The confusion you have is from skipping past the determination of the accuracy of your Asc. Don't assume that because your recorded time of birth is specific that it gives you an exactly accurate Asc. Most Asc figures are not accurate enough to provide a solid basis for house divisions. Many charts don't even show the right sign on the Asc.

The equal house system has no basis in geometric/orbital reality.
