One - Does anyone know an easy way to find what degrees your house cusps are at? It's probably really simple and I just don't know. My Lilith is RIIIIIIGHT on the line of 7th/8th. Which brings me to my second question. How would you treat cases like my Lilith. My Saturn is very very close to 11th but actually 10th. My Lilith though... man, it's right on that line! Is it cut and dry, one side of the fence or the other? IP: Logged |

When you generate a chart on astro under the list of planets you have "AC: ..., 2: ... 3: ... and MC, 11, 12. The given degrees are your house cusps and what wasn't listed can be figured out by looking at the cusp of the opposite house. They say planets can be in 2 houses. I have the Moon near a cusp but I don't see the influence of the next house in my emotional nature. ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

If you calculate your chart at Astrotheme ( http://www.astrotheme.com/horoscope_chart_sign_ascendant.php )... when you move the cursor over to the house numbers, it will say the degree which the house cusp starts.Edit: Cappy beat me to it, lol. Imo, if a planet is in a house and close to the next house (or previous house), it is in the house which it resides in. So if Saturn is in the 10th House, very, very close to the 11th House, I treat it as the 10th House, regardless. Basically, I don't believe a planet is influenced by two houses as I don't with a planet being influenced by two signs (E.g. - sign cusps). Although, in reality... the house system being used (like Placidus, for example (or any house system which isn't the Whole or Equal House Systems) may not be 100% accurate, therefore, you could possibly interpret the influences of both houses for that planet if it is really close to the next or previous house. Whichever house you relate to more (at least significantly more, to be sure), interpret that house as your house for that planet. IP: Logged | |
