Pisces is in the cusp of my 2nd, so Neptune is the ruler and its in the 12th. I am very negligent with money. I had to change my card thrice because of fraud. I've had maids steal from me money and clothes multiple times over the years. Even though I considered them like my friends and sisters... I tend to leave a good amount of money just lying around on my bed or on the table sometimes. I get so obsessed with with owning something and when I have it, it just lies there unused. People would borrow things and never give them back, I never even ask to have them back.

Not too long ago, I was getting my hair done and was accidentally charged twice. This was in September. I left a voicemail message to the salon owner and she never got back to me and I personally never tried again. I should probably go there... Ugh. (I've been saying this since September)

The more I own the less it seems to contribute to my happiness, at least that's what I've noticed.

I am very possessive of my things though. I think its because my ASC ruler is Uranus and it's conjunct Neptune (ruler of the 2nd). I hate people taking my things without telling me or when people use something that's mine more than I do. I think I am too attached to what I own sometimes even when I don't actually care about it.

It's kind of like... My PS4 is still in its box in my unpacked room. My brother asks if he can use it till I set my room up and I have a problem with that... That's a flaw that I need to work on. To learn to value my possessions without being possessive because what I am demonstrating now is the inverse of this statement: being possessive without valuing my possessions.

Interesting... I noticed that I am generous with giving money to homeless people or those in need than I am with my own family. I guess it bothers me because they are crazy spenders and I know that they had money they just chose to spend it on an unnecessary amount of clothes or on expensive stuff. I am also generous with friends.

My asc, moon, mercury and mars is also in taurus.

I usually don't buy stuff unless i need it for something practical. With my money i "semi-budget" meaning i invest a large portion of my monthly income and use the rest as i please.

Honestly i would say that i am guilty of materializing too much, i even treat myself as a possession that i need to "upgrade". I try to continually slowly but steadily increase my preformance in allot of stuff, for example i weight lift allot and gain strengh and muscle gradually trought the year, i also try to learn certain subjects troughtly so that i can profit from it later on. I think i do this to increase my "value".

I know it sounds weird when i say it straight out like that but thats actually how it is...

I work extremely hard tbh; but I really hate seeing people in need. So, I always end up weighing up whether I can go without to help someone else. I'm always giving money to various causes too lol. I'm a sucker for a good cause!

I tend to be a miser when it comes to spending money.And can be possessive of "stuff" that I am emotionally attached to.

But paradoxically.If something fails to be useful anymore,I can simply give it away. Even if it was "precious" at some point.

2nd house cusp is Gemini. There is nothing there.And the ruler Mercury aspects Saturn by sextile. Stingy!!

My Mercury is also in Capricorn. Did I mention that I am not a spender?

now when it comes to items i already own, i have allot of stuff that i don't want most people to see or access so i get super parainoid when people enter my room without me being there. same goes for my computer, it's off limits, no exceptions. But things that aren't a secret i am willing to let people borrow as loong as they have my premission and agree to pay for it if they break it. I think the secrecy is related to my moon in the 12th house tbh.

How interesting! "I treat myself like a possession". So you care a lot about your material belongings, don't mind giving them away but hate someone to navigate your room without your presence. I resonate so much with the last point. I hate the thought of my family being in my room while I'm not there. anyone else, it's ok.

Easy to see that I don't lose a lot of things. I hold onto them well and I don't forget things or accidentally leave th em somewhere often. I am attached to my belongings too. Almost emotionally attatched.

Everything is tied to some nostalgic memory or idea so I have a hard time parting with anything. But when I want to leave my life behind I leave everything behind except for a few bare essentials. I like that feeling of mentally emotionally and physically leaving it all behind and starting fresh. I even kind of enjoy the strugglw to rebuild. I think this makes sense for my pluto in the 2nd house.

@bansheequeen LOL, yeah Pisces and their mess. I think what you described resonates, at least in my mind, with having Pluto in the 2nd house. It's almost as if you'd like your belongings to be endowed with meaning. Not a fan of superficial things. Cool, cool!

I take very good care of my possessions, I don't throw my clothes around, I hang them up. I have a huge hardback book collection and a small art collection. I don't loan any of my books out, yeah greedy, but books are my life. I don't own that much stuff, but the stuff that I do own looks like it's still in new condition.

Well, I'm an aqua sun, taurus Asc so I'm like Coteau. I buy things that are useful but I try to limit myself to very few items because I move a lot.

If I like something, I will save up to buy it. The stuffs I like are all very high quality. I don't like things that are cheaply made because they don't last long. That's practically cap venus and taurus Asc.

I rarely shop. I'm very frugal but I always look good. I eat well and cook a lot. Like I make my own smoothies every day because I'm too frugal to pay $4,5 for a smoothie but I'm a taurus Asc so feeling good is important.

I used to enjoy throwing things out a lot. I put this down to Uranus transits though because the urge would be so sudden.

Think part of it too was it was things I didn't especially like.

But also I'd be very careless with things, leaving dvds out knowing they'd get scratched and just thinking I'd replace. Have been like that with money too.

Last couple of years I've changed. I think I got tired of myself being this way and kind of knowing that some unconscious thing was going on because there was something deliberate about it. I've been collecting things I really love but there's something unconscious and weird about this too because I've boxes of stuff filling a cupboard, unopened. I'm thinking to get everything then decorate all at once so I look after stuff and am not careless with it but really I know there's something else going on there.

I read two things about moon-neptune that apply. One, that sometimes they feel as if all their efforts will be washed away so they don't bother caring or making effort about things. Two, they really want to make an 'ideal' home. So it's like I'm trying to get past my nature of not bothering but still it's about an ideal I think I'm almost making impossible because I'm not sure I can make material. Think also though trying to counteract the neptune in 2nd of materials being not so material

Definitely feel this secretive behaviour is my opposition pushed into Jupiter in cancer in 8th. As also for the first time in my life I've asked for things of sentiment from when I was growing up.

I'm generous. Like, I could just give away money to someone I care about that I know really needs it and not think about getting it back. But certain possessions of mine... Much different story.

One time this guy at work wanted to borrow my phone to make a call. Sure... Right? I'd want the same and I AM happy to help others. But the whole time I'm side-eyeing him thinking, "He has my phone. He has my phone. He's getting his facial skin cells on it. His mouth cooties. His ear hair is probably stabbing it. It's tainted."

My most expensive possessions like my computer, my telephone (and money) I treat the same. They break or disappear all the time lol.
I think "careless" is the right word to describe my material possessions. My mom used to be so angry at me as a child because I just lost everything in such a careless way.

I'm not attached to my possessions. Dislike having too many things. Dislike clusters because I feel like they "weigh me down".
