How do transiting planets to houses work?

I hear people talk about their mars transiting in their 6th house or saturn transiting in 10th house...how do I figure out how a planet is transiting one of my houses? For ex, right now I have Uranus opp mercury, do I look at where uranus is in my chart or mercury? or what sign they're in? IP: Logged
