http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2014/11/141113-starstruck-uranus-storm-astronomy-science/ "A distant, icy, green giant—the planet Uranus—appears to have unexpectedly awakened from a long slumber. Astronomers have discovered a yet unexplained rash of extreme storms on the normally placid planet." ^Weird because I'm a moon uranus person and this is exactly how I've felt in the last couple of days! Anyway, just thought it was cool

Here's some more on the sudden intense storms on Uranus. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/138597-Incredible-Storms-on-Uranus-Baffle-Scientists?utm_source=rss Seven years ago, Uranus reached its closest approach to the Sun, an event that happens once every 42 years. This proximity to our stellar heat source would have explained storms in the planet's atmosphere - but the storms are happening now, years late, and scientists don't understand why

I think Uranus is in its Perihelion right now.Sort of like Mars was on nine eleven. Eclipses and Pluto Square combined, out of bounds Mars just passed Pluto Conjunction. Lot going on there. IP: Logged |

Wee this is interesting. Does any other uranian person feel like they've just come out of a placid slumber? It's funny how whenever something new happens the media likes to say, 'and scientists don't know why.' of course they don't know why yet "hey everyone the scientists have NO idea what's going on right now !! they don't even KNOW WHY" IP: Logged |
