I heard somewhere that Saturn usually leaves you a "gift" upon its exit. (For instance, Saturn in Scorpio). What does this gift relate to? Does it leave a "gift" to every single sign or only to the sign she was stationed in? Thank you IP: Logged |

I feel like whenever Saturn transits a luminary or an angle [Sun/Moon/Venus/Mercury/Mars/AC/MC/IC/DC] there is no real gift, just a sense of exhaustion but total revolution, like you took apart an entire 1,000 piece puzzle and finally finished putting it back together again. You've worked hard, either mentally or emotionally or even physically due to difficult or unexpectedly challenging circumstances, and now you have a moment to breathe again. So perhaps that change in structure [of the planet affected] and having that moment to breathe is a gift. IP: Logged |

I like the way Scorpion put it. I don't know if I fully agree but I do like it.I've begun looking at my Saturn transits not too long ago One example where I think Saturn gave me a 'gift' or perhaps forcing change was when Saturn entered my 6th house. I'm a Taurus ASC with Jup 1st house which are both characteristics of being overweight which I was for the majority of my younger years. As soon as Saturn got into my 6th house I began getting into shape. However, I have Mars in the 12th eventually creating an opposition to my tSaturn. When entering that aspect toward its exact I received a very bad knee injury. Put me on my butt for three months, and another few months of slow recovery. But during the remainder of that 6th house transit I constantly wanted to work harder to get over my injury, and to lose weight and get in shape especially when tSaturn conjuncted my 6th house Venus. As my 6th house transit came to a close I left that phase of my life with an incredibly increased control over my athleticism and I do credit it to tSaturns lessons and consider it a gift. My new eating and exercise habits are pretty much life long lessons I've gained. Naturally, Saturn is in my 7th house. I dunno what in the heck it is up to. It went over a year long transit over three planets of mine which I have not fully meditated over yet, but as one of my old co workers warned me 2 years ago, it has given delays to my career movements I just didn't know Saturn so well to really understand what he was saying. But I do believe the delays Saturn has caused my departure has allowed me more time to prepare and get things in order that will put me in a better position to tackle my coming objectives. So that may be a gift. (More time for my physical injuries to heal, get in better shape, solidify relationships, things that will close a chapter)

Saturn is right now passing my IC and I am ******* tired and exhausted of most things in my life. I feel as if all my structures have been torn down and I am left, alone, to build it all up again. And I feel lost. Not sure whom I shall thank for this "gift".. IP: Logged |

Man you can't imagine the relief, it's like you're alive again when Saturn leaves. It's like man, now i'm back to reality . Before that you'll feel like climbing a mountain waiting to reach the top and relax. IP: Logged |

I think I understand the feeling! I feel as though I'm slowling disconnecting from all of the events that happened in the past two years. The people I met feel like a distant fleeting memory. They seem to belong to some sort of past life. They don't even feel "real" (like a dream indeed ha). I was definitely living on some other planet and I'm finally coming back to Earth. IP: Logged |

Well, Saturn has been especially tough on my 10th House. It's been an exhausting couple of years, with career pursuits (in the outer world, at least) grinding to a halt that I've never experienced before. But, I do think that I will understand it all once it clears. I think it's a waste to just feel bitterness or pessimism after a Saturn transit. You've got to find a way to gain some wisdom out of all those challenges you've experienced. The best people in life have found ways to turn sucky situations into some sort of positive lesson. And, looking back on this time period, I can already see ways in which I've done that, without even realizing it. ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

I was meeting my agent today and my Mood was very "sober" to say the least.Yes, tMars was aspecting my natal T-square and it managed to get me out of bed and all psyched for the meeting. But I couldn't escape this inner melancholia and reservation. Saturn had long passed my Venus/Saturn conj.So what in the world was happening? When I looked at the transits today,tSun conjunct tSat,tMerc conjunct tMoon. And the transits aspecting my natal Venus/Saturn conjunction combo. All in Scorpio. Wow!! That old feeling was back one last time. I am clear about one thing that Saturn does. It makes one sober!! You stop over-reaching, stop beating your chest and being boastful. You start to be clear on what you are good at and what you are NOT. That was the "gift" for me And also. I am at the cusp of getting a job. After waiting this whole year for something. I am not sure whether its because the Sun is nearing its cusp. Or that tJup is squaring tMerc. But it seems I wont be idle for much longer. IP: Logged |

What kind of aspects did Saturn make as it passed through? IP: Logged |

Concision. More meaningful communication. More focussed interaction. More organised thoughts, with relationships with those who have helped me to better orient my thinking.tSATURN conjunct nMOON and nMERC, 3H. It's nice that it's finally leaving, though. Lessons learnt. Wisdom attained. IP: Logged |
