Short height has major Saturn influence on ascendant. Or even if you've a lot of Aquarius/Cap planets it restricts your height. Saturn is a planet of restriction. But why IP: Logged |

I'm a female, and 5'10 without shoes on *Virgo Rising and Gemini Sun(Say that Mercury makes for tall and lanky people generally) *Venus trine Moon trine Uranus *Jupiter sextile ASC *Mercury trine ASC *Neptune sextile ASC(may create an illusion of being really tall)My middle brother is 6'10" without shoes. *Pluto in Scorpio in 1st *Scorpio ASC *Sun conjunct Moon 1 degree in Virgo in 11th house(Aquarius) *Sun and Moon trine Uranus *Jupiter in 11th house My youngest brother is 16, and currently 6'5" *Scorpio ASC *Pluto in Sag in the 1st *Jupiter trine ASC *Uranus in Aquarius in 3rd *No planets in Gemini or Virgo. Basically, its a luck of the draw, even when it comes to the stars, because our mother is 5'5, and she is a Sag Sun, Scorpio ASC, and Pisces Moon.lol. Dad is 6'3", Virgo Sun,Scorpio ASC, Aquarius Moon.My birth dad was 6'5" and was a Cancer Sun,Capricorn ASC, Pisces Moon. IP: Logged |

Yes, 5th house Saturn is likely to cause problems in this area, blocks or/and delays, but if there are strong artistic/creative indicators in the chart then the person is likely to overcome the obstacles. If there's potential and enjoyment, there will be not only a determination to fix the situation but also to make money on this stuff and ideally master the craft. After all Saturn has a serious approach. Secondly, acting isn't creating, it's interpreting and performing so let's leave her daddy alone. Actually, since she has Capricorn rising, 5th house matters are emphasised here, for better or worse. Her 10th house Sun, Moon and Neptune probably contribute to her being drawn to showbiz. Also, she has Mercury conjunct Neptune and Venus sextile Neptune. Neptune rules cinema ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

I've Saturn in 5th house, but 5th lord Jupiter and 10th lord Venus(Taurus) conjunct in 10th house. So basically yes, I'm very creative but feel under appreciated, but in certain transits I feel over appreciated, mostly in my Mercury(Gem) period, as it aspects saturn from 11th house. Plus I also have Neptune and Uranus in 5th. Makes me so illusional and dreamy IP: Logged |

Which house is your Jupiter + Most of your planets should be in the Saturn signs for you to be short. Saturn sign ascendant alone doesn't make you short, mostly it's the aspects also that count IP: Logged |

I disagree with this because I have Saturn in Capricorn in the 5th house, and I sew my own clothes, paint, draw, done classical ballet since 2, was in gifted programs for anything arts, and I make my own software and apps for a living now. I also have Neptune in 5th, with my NN in 5th in Aquarius. Leo SN. It depends on the individual chart

True that's what I wrote earlier - quote: I've Saturn in 5th house, but 5th lord Jupiter and 10th lord Venus(Taurus) conjunct in 10th house. And NN has a pretty expansive quality to it, basically Neptune + NN + saturn. Plus talk about creativity, Saturn is the lord of technical creativity, I'm also a software developer for that instance, a professional photographer and singer too. I didn't say it doesn't make you creative, it just blocks the recognition under your mid life. Plus NN anywhere expands the house traits of anything. Glad that you'e 5th house NN. IP: Logged |

I have Jupiter in the 1st house, and am definately not tall, or overweight. I have always been extremely tiny, smallest person in my family, even my grandmothers are taller lol. I'm a Pisces Asc. and I've read that can give a tiny frame, pear shaped, but tiny, which would be true for me. ------------------ Pisces Ascendant Sagittarius Sun Scorpio Moon :) IP: Logged |

Does jupiter and sun aspects increase height, or/and Mercury in the 1st house?Yes, the planets indicated in greater than average (family) height are Jupiter, Mercury, sometimes Saturn. The Sun in my observations and records may correlate to a strong constitution regardless of the skeleton's dimensions. It can mean increased strength and sometimes height as well.Do rising sign decans play a big role? No. ------------------ Expert rectification, professional astrology consults http://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/ Complete desriptions of all Rising Signs: https://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/rising-signs-2/ IP: Logged |

I feel aspects play a major role than house placements when it comes to height. More so, jupiter aspect isn't the only factor that counts, and the weight gain happens mostly in later life. I'm not sure about other's experience but in my analysis i've found Jupiter and Saturn with major influence. IP: Logged |

Well, I do have my Asc Squared by Saturn and Mercury, with a Sun Sextile. So, there you go...

My boyfriend is tall, about 6"2 I believe. He's a Leo ASC with a Taurus Sun in the 10th, Aries Jupiter and Mercury loosely conjunct Aries MC. And his ASC has four planets aspecting it:Sun square ASC (3 degrees) Moon opposite ASC (6 degrees) Venus trine ASC (5 degrees) Pluto square ASC (5 degrees) As for me, I'm super short lol. I'm 4"11. I'm a Cancer ASC with Leo Sun sextiling it, and South Node conjunct it by 4 degrees. I've read before that if you have the nodal axis across your ASC/DSC, height can play a role. SN tends toward short/stocky, while NN tends toward tall. How true this really is, I don't know. But I could say it's possibly true for me. IP: Logged |

I'm seeing a real trend, astrology isn't a reliable source when it comes to concluding trends of height. It's simply genetics IP: Logged |
