My parents are both Capricorns with Aries Moons, but my Mom is the short-tempered one while my Dad is as calm as can be. One of my good friends is a Capricorn with an Aries Moon, and she's like my Dad.

So I'm wondering, howcome my Mom is the only one with anger problems? She has a Sagittarius stellium if that matters.

Probably because she is a woman in the first place and a woman's moon sign is the type of woman she is.

Maybe check the orb between their sun square moon aspects. I have sun square moon exact in natal, and even though I'm pretty laid back normally, I can get a bit fiery and grumpy when my little ones play up!

I'm an aries moon too but that's my only fire planet (rest is air and earth) so I'm not very firey. Your Dad might be similar.

The house the moon is in might affect it too

You really have to look at the whole Moon dynamics, that is why I don't use just signs. It means really nothing without aspects and houses. One person's Aries Moon can be like night and day, they may generally have the same viewpoint, but how they react and express their Moon can be very different.

So:
Aspects
Houses
Decans
Dwads/Duads: people overlook these but these can subtly change a Planet.

Specific to Moon:
VOC Moon
Out of Bounds Moon
Moon Phase

The overall chart in general, no planet acts alone, the vibe of the whole chart has to be looked at, some people have quiet charts where others are more tempered.

All men I have met with an Aries Moon have been very laidback. The Suns however maybe not so much :-/

Also the degree of the moon.

Im a cappy sun with an Aries moon.
my moon is pretty unstable and while I can keep myself poised and composed in front of others if I'm in my home or someone is bullying someone else all hello can break loose.
