I still get confused by the terms in astrology...

I see people talking about good/easy aspects being trine and sextiles and the bad/hard aspects are the square and the opposition but where I get confused is the conjunction...

Are conjunctions good or bad?

Yes!

They can be either good or bad. Or both at the same time. In the case of conjunct, its as if there is no filter between the two planets, so all the energies blend, for better or worse.

Look to the two planets themselves, the sign and house, and other aspects to the conjunction to determine harmonious or challenging.

So two planets can be conjunct each other even if their elements don't fit traditionally?

For example what happens when a Lilith in Leo is Conjunct a sun in Virgo? Is that even possible?
