For Example, here is something about musical composers, and what astrologically seems to link to their musical talents: Peter Morrell writes:
“In summary, from this we can see that any planets in Leo and Aquarius tend to be linked with musical ability, especially the middle and end degrees. We can also see 13-19 degrees of any sign can confer musical ability especially those in cardinal and fixed signs, but even in mutables too. 29 Sag also seems prominent in many charts. Musicians and composers need a sense of vibration [16 fixed signs] a sense of rhythm [Jupiter or Mars in earth?] and also a sense of subtle perception [Venus Neptune contacts]. They also need artistic sense [Venus] and the sense of symmetry [Libra] and architecture [Mercury Saturn] for composition. Many also deal with lyrics and thus a Gemini, Virgo, Mercury component also comes in.” From: http://www.elsaelsa.com/astrology/2007/05/02/astrology-and-music-common-degrees-and-aspects-in-the-charts-of-musicians/ IP: Logged |

That is extremely interesting, especially linking the degrees with ability. I always knew that Mercury strong makes a person good with lyrics, poems, stanzas, and language in general. I agree about Leo and Aquarius, this is a very creative axis. Aquarius thinks outside of the box in a unique structure through Saturn and Leo has concrete artistic skills that are dramatic like the Sun.Not too sure about my talents, will get back to you on that...

I'm really musically inclined - I've been playing piano by ear for 17+ years, I taught myself guitar, and am about to embark on teaching myself the violin. I sing as well. Non-musically I'm quite a good writer - my tone comes across very clearly and many people are entertained by my observational humor. I paint as well too.A) Moon in Taurus (11th house) B) Moon in Taurus trine Neptune in Capricorn (7th house) C) Mars Gemini (12th house) Conj. ASC - adds versatility. D) Pluto in Scorpio in the 5th (also opposes Moon), Sun in Aries in the 11th So ultimately, a highly and mostly positively aspected moon. My Venus in the 11th house is sextile Mars and conjunct Mercury in Aries. >>D) When I was little I was actually very shy and didn't like to perform in front of anyone, but after I sang and put it on Facebook and saw people actually liked it karaoking was a walk in the park. Public speaking also comes naturally to me. IP: Logged |

^^ 11th house planets give an Aquarius vibe so your abilities ties into the study quite nicely, also all your Venus/Taurus/7th house.Pluto in 5th opposing Moon, you are transformed through creativity, hobbies, interest. You yearn to express yourself in profound ways. Pluto in 5th can give strong ability using the body in general. Playing instruments can show this as well, as you need a lot of dexterity when playing instruments which you received with Mars in Gemini. IP: Logged |

I am definitely more creative than scientific, but I actually also enjoy writing, and I enjoy researching and work out bigger assignments, where I have to really dig into a subject, asking the right questions that makes it interesting to know more about... like a journalist almost... I have also been told I'm a good interviewer But I also really love drama, and have always dreamed of being an actor! I havn't done this much though, so it's hard to say how really talented I am, but I keep on dreaming I have no planets in that 13-19 degrees, but I do have venus and pluto in 5th house, a lot of virgo and virgo mars, mercury square saturn, venus sextile neptune and libra mercury. My strongest and tightest aspect is mercury square neptune, and this aspect is often found in writers chart, the kind of writers who makes fiction ^^ IP: Logged |

I'm in music (EDM) and there are 3 planets in Leo in my chart, (sun, mercury,Venus) mercury among them being within 13-19 degrees while also being conjunct sun. I wouldn't say Jupiter needs to be in mars to have rhythm, I'd say that comes more from fire, though the structural integrity and organization of the music would be earth. My artistic sense is amplified because Venus is my dominant planet and is in Leo and I'm actually a good singer (but don't like to sing) x) Neptune also plays a big role since it rules the arts and is in exaltation in Leo. Luckily I have this in 1st house conjunct ascendant so the arts just flow to me lol. Symmetry is attained by Libra mars and north node in Libra 29 degrees. I don't work with lyrics and actually dislike them a lot of the times unless they say something truly meaningful because in EDM, the primary focus is on dancing and listening to the progression of the chords/beat. Its funny to think about how we choose our charts before we incarnate to give us the most correct experience and attributes for what we want to learn and accomplish in the life. This is directly relevant to me as its been my destiny to be a producer/DJ because its what I've always done. Many people are finishing what they started in Atlantis or prior since this is the accompanying life to the last one in Atlantis (Age of Leo) before the fall. I was a priest in the temple of sound so naturally this has always been my path. Many who worked with the crystal grids or with crystals in Atlantis feel strangely drawn to them this life etc. It can go even farther back to lives in other star systems. I work with sound in all my lives to help people ascend and rhythmic patterns of sound activate things inside people and allow them to raise their frequencies exponentially since all things are sound (frequencies of vibration). On Sirius I've been told that's how I ascended my first time, was via sound as a shaman, and my starseed friend has also informed me that I'm apart of the ministry of sound on Sirius so all of these things stem in to the destiny for which my life is headed this time around. The same goes for many others, who have gained their talents over their many lives and it becomes embedded in the higher dimensional DNA to be accessed later once the 12 chakras have been activated once more. This thread has given me trouble because my talents aren't so focused or apparent to me. People like Hanna have very clear talent in their passion, others can be more like jacks.I have a Moon Neptune conjunction and I am pretty creative. I think I'd make a wonderful director but I have no house activations that make me interested in pursuing the arts. But this conjunction makes me a dreamer and my goals lofty. I'm pretty charming and sociable. Taurus Ascendant, Venus in the 6th, Jupiter in the 1st makes me charming and jovial particularly in the work place. My Sun in the 7th probably helps too. I'm a really good boxer and I apply that to my Mars in Aries, as well as the Taurus Ascendant. It was a natural learning progression for me in terms of the movement. I'm at my best in boxing when I'm smothered and forced to react instinctively; someone I read once called the Mars in Aries as good in the 'purity of action'. And indeed its true when it comes to sports and I have no time to think only to react. I do have to fight the 12th house negativity of my Mars energy in the slow moments though. Oh my Mercury, I'm really grateful for my Mercury in Scorpio. I think it helps greatly with the people skills by the way of studying psychology stuff (the subject itself, ennagream, meyers, astrology, and so many other forms). I have a lot of heavy Virgo friends and through them I've seen the ability of Mercury Scorpio to put/see together a big picture vs some other placements.
I like my Moon in Capricorn conjunct Saturn exact with Uranus, and Neptune conjunct as well. I don't understand the Uranus bit too well yet but I'm grateful for the Capricorn and the Saturn. I feel it gives me an emotional sobriety and makes me a great clear headed thinker in crisis. It is a great upside to all the faults people attribute to this placement. Even describing all this I still don't feel like my chart is full of talent. I think it's because I associate talent with the arts IP: Logged |

I can draw, and I attribute this to my 6H sun (perfectionist) and mutable t-square:Gem Mars-Pisces Moon-Sag Neptune However, I don't enjoy drawing. Back when I used to get recognition, high grades, praise from my classmates, there was some pay-off. Nowadays I don't have the time/place to concentrate, and substandard work drives me crazy (sun square Pluto.) IP: Logged |

WOo cool thread!!I took a quick view and looks like in my natal, I have: Neptune 1H in cap Uranus 1H in sag (17sag33), conjunct Asc Jupiter 2H in Aqu - semisquares Uranus so I guess the both rulers of Sag and Aqu are in aspect with each other. Sun, Moon, Mercury 3H in Pisces - Neptune sextils this stellium Dsc in Gem I don't have any planets in Leo but my Vx sits at 0Leo16. I think I have musical talent???? but I'm not sure.. What is a talent anyway? I have absolute pitch and been playing piano since I was 3 (but I no longer take lessons, just playing on it leisurely). I can self-teach any instruments I pick up, replicate songs on piano even if I heard it only a few times, and recognize any songs if I've heard it once. When I was little I used to compose music on piano for fun. I like to draw as well. Very perceptive to colors, and always been creative and crafty since I was little. My mother is an artist, and my dad is a musician so I thought I just inherited these artsy characters but didn't know natal charts show these too! IP: Logged |

Sun, Moon, Mercury 3H in Pisces - Neptune sextils this stellium Well there it is. That's a big ol indicator of an artsy person i think but usually people I've seen with active 3rd houses have been writers.

Oh.. LOL.. Ima noob in astrology so oops! I like to put my thoughts into words. Creative writing is fun!! Sometimes I feel I can express myself better in writing but sometimes I can't write at all.. :/ English is a second language for me so it's been hard to write... When I was little, my essay was featured in some writing contest for kids in Japan. I guess I do a bit of writing at work... but I write scientific articles or papers. Not so much with creative flavors. These things are not talent tho..? Haha
