I have been obsessed lately with finding the right career for myself, where to go from here, what to do (go back to school? pursue my art? what?), and what will bring me the freedom I so desperately desire. Is there anything in the natal chart that can point me toward finding out what I would find the most success and fulfillment in? How to read it? IP: Logged |

often it's the 10th house, the MC, or the 6th. but it's best to post your chartHOW TO GET YOUR CHART
1. Go to www.astro.com . You can create a free account or enter your birth data as a guest; however, creating an account will allow you to save your information – great for trying the different charts both for yourself and for others in your life. If you don’t know the exact time of your birth, do your best to find out – it *is* important.
2. Go to “Free Horoscopes” and then to “Extended Chart Selection.”
3. “Natal Chart Wheel” is the default, but you will need to go to “House System” (under “Options” use the drop-down to change to “equal”).
4. Click on “Click here to show the Chart,” then click on the chart which will appear.
5. Right-click and save the chart to your desktop.
HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR CHART
1. Create a free account at www.photobucket.com .
2. Select “Upload Now” which will bring up “Select Photos and Videos.”
3. Navigate to your desktop and select.
4. On right, click “Save and continue to my album.”
5. When you hover the mouse pointer over the chart, you will see that a box appears with a few options. If you need to edit out your name or anything else you don’t feel comfortable sharing on the boards, “edit” is in the top band of options. Select “edit” which opens your chart and provides editing options. Go to the tab “Decorate,” and you will see a number of icons, one of which is an eraser. Erase what you need to, and click “Replace original.”
6. Saving should take you to a new screen where you can see your chart and to the right, a bank of options to “Share this photo.” Click on the IMG code, which will flash and let you know that you’ve copied the link.
7. Go to your thread, open a new post and paste your link.
8. Don’t move or delete your chart from Photobucket, because the link only goes to where the chart was saved! IP: Logged |

 I have an empty 10th and 6th house. I'd LOVE to be a famous celeb (must be that Leo MC) but the chances of me getting there? Slim to none..so I need some real advice on what is REALISTIC as far as my career and financial success is concerned. I have Venus square my MC...what does that mean? IP: Logged |

i'll look and i'm sure others will as well. even if your "career" houses are empty they still have rulers, so you look at the aspects those are making to get some answers.IP: Logged |

I'm not necessarily wanting a personal reading, but to rather discuss what parts of astrological charts shed light on fulfillment, career, and financial success..I can delete my chart if it gives the impression that I am only looking for a personal reading.IP: Logged |

The entire chart has to be taken into thought. For me, I've been trying to enlist in the Coast Guard for awhile now and almost in. As soon as I learned about the CG I knew it was for me and I feel many aspects of my chart tell that story. I have Capricorn Midheaven which is a MC placement that wants a structured rise to the top (Military ranks are a fine example). My Mars in Aries requires me to have a physical life style, another point for the military. I have Neptune in the 9th house, the ruler of the oceans in my house of foreign travels, a fine fit for the Coast Guard. All these placements also justify a career in Finance, which I was preparing for after college. So for you, you have a very strong 2nd house emphasis of material security and money. Ask yourself if you resonate with the needs of security and money? If the answer is yes, you're probably attracted to high paying careers. Then look at your MC, combine these two. A Leo MC and a Scorpio ASC with a 2nd house emphasis? This spells money to me. But wait, what about your North Node? Mine is in the 11th house Pisces which means my 'destiny' or karmic lesson is to bring Pisces traits to social groups/humanitarian causes ie the Coast Guard, it could be the reason why my chart took me from finance to the CG, the most humanitarian focused of our military branches. So perhaps my finance inclinations were tilted in the other aspect of my make up by my North Node.. Your North Node is in the 5th house, you mentioned your art, well the 5th house rules creativity. And like your Leo Midheaven, the 5th house is affiliated with Leo, perhaps you want recognition? So now what? Maybe you should find a stable career that satisfies your strong 2nd house, and work toward that creativity of yours where you want recognition due to the Leo MC, and 5th NN. I don't know if I'm right at all because I didn't take into account your planets and aspects and did broad strokes but you get the point.. synthesize your chart to get the road map. edit: I just saw this - "I have an empty 10th and 6th house. You are also a Capricorn Sun, I somewhat understand this energy because of my Moon and Midheaven in Capricorn so you probably want huge success like I do except a little more showy (you leo mc you). Take these money talents you seem to have and try to make some decent money and fund your creativity. Venus square MC? I don't know it intuitively but it means the traits of Venus, which includes art, will have problems combining with your Midheaven, which is your public persona & career. IP: Logged |

I should also note there are plenty of other tools that I hope someone will come in and discuss. I kinda just rely on the basics because I feel they've always told the stories well enough for me.Also, I made a thread a few weeks ago about the Janduz symbols on Astrotheme with mixed results. Worked for some, not for others. For me the Janduz symbol on my MC fits my current life progression perfectly "Interpretation of the 25° Capricorn symbolic degree

Someone with such a second house stellium is most definitely looking for financial success to feel secure! I started looking more into understand my chart to figure out what I should do with my life...... Still haven't found it yet! I'll try to get back to you later to see if I can find a hint in your chart. ETA: I found it! Real estate!  Jupiter in the 4th expansion, Mars in 4th motivation, 4th = homes. Real estate is finance related. You'd be good at that with a second house stellium and real estate can bring a lot of money. Real estate is sales related. You'd be good at that with a first house Venus and a Scorpio ASC as people would be drawn to you and find you charming if you don't get too intense. People probably like you. Leo MC, you do need to be a bit of a show many to do sales. Real estate agents are generally independents so you can set our own agenda giving you freedom. Real estate!! OK. I ignored your art question. If you are really more artsy, you could be an art dealer work in a gallery. But my guess is you'd see the people with lots of money come in and be more annoyed. Just letting you know, the further we go into the Age of Aquarius, the more this entire world is going to change. You are thinking in the old world terms of needing to work to be able to live on planet earth. This will no longer be the case and never should have been the case. If you truly seek happiness, look within and find it. BE happiness and you will be happy. All you need is within you for the creator is in all things. There will be no need for work when you can consciously manifest whatever you want. But first you must attain the vibration that will allow those abilities to unfold from within you as you activate your 12 5d DNA strands. Advice: don't focus on what career you want for that's all outdated thinking. Focus on what your heart wants you to do and what your life mission is here on earth in this incarnation. You will never find freedom trying to play within the system the cabal has set up, ever. You will only find freedom by connecting with your highest self and bringing that energy down into the earth plane to ground it into Gaia and make it a physical 3d reality before all start to ascend into 5d. venus square MC isn't a bad placement; it can mean that you want to be recognized (venus in the 1st puts a lot of emphasis on the self, and your outward beauty and acceptance), but that you go about doing it in the wrong ways, perhaps by ignoring authority, thinking you're better than others (in work-related issues), and just not adhering to standards. you have to make sure that other people (ie bosses) don't see you as disingenuine, because you're not, it can just come across that way to others. it also means you put much more emphasis on how you look outwardly, and might not care how your desk/job looks, so you'd be someone who could actually work in a scattered environment and not need for it to be neat and tidy. like the other posts mentioned, the 2nd house puts a lot of emphasis on finance and personal security. it doesn't mean to enter finance, but that you're going to be very concerned with issues surrounding money, personal wealth, retirement, etc. it's very beneficial to have your moon and sun in the 2nd because it generally means you'll achieve some measure of financial success, or at least be very good with money. a lot of people with cap and taurus placements in the 2nd do enter financial careers. i would actually say this chart suggests teaching of some sort - traditional teaching, art, religious, philosophy, psychology, etc., and the venus placement and leo MC would allow you to recognized - not by stars, but by being one in front of people.
