I've only heard that this planet is basically "immature" in regards to expressing itself using that sign's qualities.

Oh,really? I didn't know this, haha! So you mean tell me if I have a Libra rising at 01 degrees, (which i do) that would make me act like a immature libra? I've read this somewhere in the past, but I thought it was something different, haha! Imo,I thought it meant that you would embody that sign more than latter degrees because it's the first degree? I could be very wrong though, haha!

Yeah, I think it was Alyssa Sharpe or KRS on YouTube.... I don't remember right now.
Not that it's true necessarily but that's what I heard somewhere.

It's Alyssa ...

I kinda doubt it though. Based on decans of signs, if you have a placement in first decan, it is more of that sign.

First decan Aqua are Aqua decan. Second decan Aquas are Gem decan ...etc.
So based on this theory (which has been used forever and more), the first 10 degree of a sign would be the most characteristic of that sign.

Yeah I was going to mention decans.
It could be like after 10 degrees then you move to the next sign in that element to build that.

But... Idk.
I don't have any input of my own really. I'm not sure what to make of it. Just what I heard.

A planet in the beginning degrees of a sign is I imagine, much like someone who is charging into new territory; it is scary, but exciting. New but also potentially dangerous.

There is a dichotomy to the experience etc. But it is so delicious- because this energy is very much the "trailblazer". You are breaking a virginity status you didn't even know you had.

Imagine being the 1st human ever to have sex(fire),give birth(earth),feel pain(water),come up with an idea(air)? Breathtaking!!!

Now people often confuse this energy with Aries- saying that it has to show aggression, assertion and visibility. I disagree.

It does have a very "Aries" feel, but that's not all of it at all. What i realized, in my own experience, was that a planet between 0-5 degrees tends to make me forget the past and focus on the future.True.Especially when it is on the angles.

But it also makes me aware of new fears, new questions, new options and new dangers etc.

There is a willingness to trip and fall and be blissfully unaware of one's immaturity on one hand.Try something completely different, feel new feelings or be obsessed with a booming idea.

But there is also a deep vulnerability- like the penguin who takes the leap inside the icy waters. Will he swim to safety or be devoured by the predators? It's very ALL or NOTHING.

In contrast, the last degrees- 25-29 Degrees(Especially the 29th) are about "closing up,ending and drawing conclusions".

Here there is a tendency to tie up loose ends,to make peace with what has been,to learn the lesson,to find the meaning and reason and also to tally up ones "mistakes".

I have noticed that when a planet is on the last degree(by transit)- especially the slower moving ones- Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus ,Neptune,Pluto; There is a wanting to say goodbye to something or tie up some lose end in that house.

Some decide to end a relationship, say goodbye to a friend, throw away something that was once cherished.Close up something, make up their mind about something that was long pondered over or abandon an outdated idea that no longer serves them etc.

Many people tend to also confuse this energy with Pisces or Scorpio, but what I have noticed is that it doesn't always mean that the individual is "profound" or familiar with the themes the sign represents.

In most cases,it suggests that they are still learning about what has been, trying to make sense of what has happened.

Some are usually wise in evaluating things that have come to pass.Becoming armchair philosophers and evaluating past experiences from that point of reference.

Others find themselves continuing to make the same mistakes again and again. And in the process continue to be bombarded with the same painful messages again and again-if they are hard of hearing. It doesn't let up.

This degree can feel "heavy" to some whilst "enlightening" to others,a sort of "aha" realization of what has been.

These people usually develop good skills of "follow through"- no matter the sign. And if they don't,trust me when I say that life will beat that skill into them(if needs be).

They need to always finish what they start. If they don't,it tends to haunt them and doesn't allow them to learn the lesson for doing it in the 1st place.

Watch the planets move in the 1st and last degrees for yourself and see if what I am saying makes sense.

Right now Saturn will be closing up on Scorpio. Look to the essence of the energy and the house that it is currently in. Is there something there that needs to be closed up,ended or finalized?

29 Degree is ending and 0 degree is beginning.

I also wanted to add that since your Mars is in Taurus in the 1st degree, you may have a set of skills that come "naturally" to you that others do not possess and you have no clue as to where they were learned from.

Since Mars is in Taurus, you could be good at painting, decorating and dressing up.This may come very naturally to you.

You could even be very skilled with kissing, hugging, giving physical affection and lovemaking.Even though you may not have had that many lovers to "hone" this skill.

It could also make you very flexible to learn and eager. One who wants to try something new,do something different and experiment more in the areas that Taurus governs.

You could want to go to the untraveled path or manifest things others have never thought of- in some way. You could be someone who gets inspired by music, art, love and money (Taurian things)and you do wonderful things unheard/unthought of.

What happens when a a planet is entering it's last 10 degrees? Does it start showing traits of the next sign?

thank you everyone. I was curious, I have heard that the 29th degree is something of importance like a lesson that was incomplete in your past life but I never found much or read much about the first degree.

very interesting I am pretty good at decorating and drawing. Mars in Taurus in the first degree would being in the fifth house add anything to this also?

I guess it would hey. Taurus on the 5th house cusp tends to be creative and artistic. Natural interest in all things aesthetics.

Much like Libra and Pisces on the 5th house cusp.
