I was reminded of somebody I used to know, and on a whim I looked up his natal chart. He had:

Venus square Moon
Venus square Jupiter
Venus square Uranus
Venus square Chiron
Venus square Vesta
Venus square Eros

Am I right in assuming that so many Venus squares is a bit… unusual? Or is it?

What would such a number of Venus squares generally imply?

difficult love life.

The mother probably embodies qualities of these planets and did not resonate with the native

Thank you, theunknown - I did wonder if that might be it!

This is someone who - I later found out - was infatuated with me for several years, without making any kind of a move. When I found out, I became intrigued and tried to approach him, but he backed off. In fact, he was quite rude to me as he did so, and managed to hurt me more than I should have been hurt by what was nothing more than a crush on my part… but, I digress. A couple of years later he married someone who was pretty much the polar opposite of me… e.g. I'm in a creative profession, extreme introvert, tend to intellectualize things, people always call me cold and aloof; his wife is a nurse and a cook, very earthy, warm and extroverted, a lovely 'mother hen' type if there ever was one. We look nothing alike, either.

The most bizarre part of it is that I once had dreams about this man in which he told me things that later turned out to be true. Eerie. I've never been receptive to any psychic phenomena, so if there was indeed some kind of dream telepathy going on, it originated from him, not me.

He's a musician, and I now ran into some of his songs on the internet… a lot of them are about longing for an unreachable beloved with whom he, among other things, only communicates in dreams. Yeah, that did make me wonder a bit…

Well, venus-square moon and venus square uranus are considered heart-breaker aspects.

I'm not sure if he has moon-jupiter, moon-uranus hard aspects as well.

Venus-square-moon people tend to have difficult time deciding their preferences. For a man, that'd be even more difficult I'd imagine, as venus represents what he likes and moon represents what nurtures him, what his family likes. Less mature/evolved men tend to choose one or another and might end up cheating; hence this is considered a heart-breaker aspect because both parts of his psyche aren't satisfied at the same time.
Maybe in his choices of partner, you mean one thing to him and his wife represents the other.

I don't know much about eros and vesta. Wanting things that one cannot have might have something to do with eros

What would venus square moon in a woman's chart mean? Particularly, venus in aries and moon in cancer.

I have moon in aries venus in cap.

It's kinda similar. Your family doesn't like what you like. In a woman's chart the venus embodies her own energy, I think.

In your case you need lots of family warmth to feel nurtured, especially your mother probably plays really important role in your life. Yet you like people who are independent, fighter spirited and might consider yourself as one so these energies conflict each other.
