I'm new to posting on this site, so please bear with me if this topic has already been discussed. My primary interests are parent/child relationships, couples relationships and karmic astrology.
I have some questions about how to do the calculations for an antiscon.
Traditionally (or so I've been told), you use the "sign combos" indicated below and then subtract the degrees in longitude of that light/planet from 30 degrees:
Gemini-Cancer
Leo-Taurus
Virgo-Aries
Libra-Pisces
Scorpio-Aquarius
Sagittarius-Capricorn
I just upgraded my software. It calculates a "declination-antiscia" chart. This obviously takes a lot less work when you're working on multiple charts, but the software calculations are off a few degrees from each manually calculated antiscon.
I used the Alcabitus house system for one of the charts I'm working on because the place of birth is 2 degrees north of where the Artic Circle begins.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
