I think that Sun conjunct Venus would be the type of guy who is charming, but overly vain. He thinks he can get any woman because of his darn good looks and he does. Unless Venus is combust, I think this is more likely to be the case. Moon trine Venus on the other hand, I think would spell a guy who can empathize with women and just have this natural charm that can easily attract women. He has a caring heart and good manners. He's maybe less aggressive than the Sun conjunct Venus guy. His charm wouldn't be so in-your-face.IP: Logged |

I'm a member of the latter and while I admit I have been called charming, I'm not every vain. Vanity reeks of arrogance which in turn is of security. often with those guys who are the charming but vain ones are the same ones that have been coddled and believe the world revolves around them, which is usually what they're taught to believe as they grow up. Venus trine moon would have a good relationship with the emotions whereas sun conjunct Venus would be more the energies of Venus are expressed through the conscious self and are accessed when the individual is being himself. And I've noticed that's when girls like me the most, when I'm completely being myself and not afraid of being my goofy silly Leo self :P IP: Logged |

The Moon Trine is more receptive, they tend to draw you to them, while the Sun is more out-going, and projects it forth to the world around them.IP: Logged |

My brother has Sun combust Venus in his descendant. So far, I haven't really noticed the effects of the conjunction. I think he feels really awkward around women, although he was well-liked in his old school by quite a couple girls. He doesn't think he can just get any woman he wants; he doesn't even try to charm them. I'd say he is just simply indifferent to women.
