Hello!
Hope your all doing great. . There are two questions in this topic. Below are my opinions/answers. I'm more interested in what you guys answer. Any questions please ask I'm good at making things complicated when it does not have to be. Thanks guys

1.What is it you find fascinating about astrology?

Since I began looking into astrology I loved the idea that it is a constant quest for knowledge, I am always learning new things that I can apply, practice and or share with others. The more I learn, the more questions I have. I feel as though it will always be a subject I'm drawn to for one reason or another.

2.What are your big unanswered questions or thoughts? (at the moment or in general)

For example: I would love to be part of a...lets say.. generation that helps people and myself understand astrology in a scientific way. If we could in some way find scientific proof or a link as to how the planets affect our earth, therefore affecting us personally.(The influence of the planets is more than likely only felt or understood from within us and it could be a subtle inner influence that would in turn be hard to prove because we are all so uniquely different..) Although with that kind of proof it may just allow others to keep an open mind on the subject of astrology. Which in turn could allow us all to work together towards answers to the new questions that emerge. How would we do this? That would probably be my big question that I would like to have answered if it can ever be answered. In due time .
I say this because some people want proof, for example: Proof that god exists. When in reality I believe it is an internal question when it comes to your beliefs.
I don't know who said this first but my friend Crystal told me once. "We all have feelings. We know they are there but we can not see our feeling." Yet we know we have feelings and that fact affects us daily, emotions and feelings can motivate us they are part of our experiences and our decision making, in our day-to-day lives and activities. We can answer some questions about emotions and feelings in a scientific way lets say neurologically by studying the brain but as long as we need some kind of concrete proof in front of us I believe that we will never have all the answers. In a sense it is like trying to mix for example spirituality with science. Not an easy combination but I believe it can be done with an open mind.

Now back to you guys !!

I don't have the time for a lengthy response so I'll just throw something out there:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_Consciousness_Project

More specifically, REGs (random event generators) which inspired the GCP.

Parapsychology got especially interesting to me when it started using REGs (Random Event Generators) when parapsychologists starting noting how the mind might SUBCONSCIOUSLY affects things...one who worked with Boeing considered it significant as all electronic devices are inherently random event generators of a sort, so what affect might the mental state of pilots, even passengers, have on a plane?

Just to you know, some experiments include using robots operating on REGs.

The experiments that fascinate me the most was testing REGs at concerts, churches, and even during the aftershocks of Princess Diana's death in multiple countries with strong effects that in turn inspired the Global Consciousness Project using REGs in over 70 countries and those involved believed great world events are affecting their REGs. This strongly suggests to me that massive amounts of emotion/attitude was affecting the physical universe...which to me implies ENERGY, and energy can be harnessed...

'Course an alternate (and very disturbing) view is that large global events (even war or the death of Princess Di) is caused by the same energy that is affecting the REGs (that is, not originating from humans and possibly directed AT our world from elsewhere), and this is suggested by some "retroactive" readings that seem to show the disruption BEFORE massive traumatic events (possibly related, many sites of disasters tend to get haunted by paranormal critters just before the disaster).

And I connect this to astrology because I don't see astrology as a physical force or coming from the heavens, but rather a "global consciousness" subconsciously created, that is it is our own psychic energy shaped by our subconscious understanding that is projected outward and then back at us. Astrology is real but the source is us and our collective unconsciousness, not the stars and planets themselves.

And the implications of all of that is fascinating to me.

Oops, looks like I went on a ways anyway. Maybe I'll include other aspects later.

1. What is it you find fascinating about astrology?
I find it amazing that each of us has a unique chart and by looking at a person's chart my understanding of them increases so much. It helps me be understanding when I come across peoples faults, including my own. We're all working through the good and the bad of our charts and it isn't easy so it is important to be patient with others.

2. My biggest question to astrology comes down to free will. To me astrology is the representation of the clock work universe where everything moves according to mathematical restraints. And all these constants apply very well to us and make us who we are. The only way I see us having free will is if we come in from another place of existence and choose our charts for this one. I don't proclaim to believe or know if that's the case.

My thoughts are messy, but recently I found Schopenhauer best expresses my currently beliefs.

"Man can do what he wills but he cannot will what he wills"

I like a lot of things about astrology, how you can take it on as a study in and of itself--there's just so much to learn about it--In many ways it is an actual science although it can also be light and superficial--(it you just read the daily horoscopes in the newspaper and leave it at that)There's a lot more to it than that--
I love how it can describe a person so well. How you can actually physically see the Taurus and the Gemini in someone.
I like to just study people and then guess their placements and look it up and see that I was right--
Take for example Neptune--sometimes you can just see Neptune written all over someone's face!

It shows me that God exists and that he cares about the smallest detail of each person.

1.What is it you find fascinating about astrology?

I believe in God. I witness God without effort in nature. It's harder to witness God in humanity. Astrology connects the beauty and balance in nature to what sometimes seems like inexplicable chaos of humanity, not only making it easier to witness God in humanity, but also bringing a more realistic, less fantasy-like, respect for nature. It brings expansion and more truth in love.

2.What are your big unanswered questions or thoughts? (at the moment or in general)

I can't really answer that. I can't think of a single question right now, which means my questions are infinite at the moment. I can share what I am looking for right now. I am looking to live my passion. I am looking to show gratitude for my life by filling every part of my being with living (the verb).

Thanks. I love being asked to think.

Edited, after sleeping on it.
