This is a tricky question for me...since I'm Virgo Asc with nothing in Pisces. Unlike Pluto/Mars, Jupiter seems an odd fit as ruler of Pisces...however, I see much similarity between Sagittarius & Pisces. IP: Logged |

I sometimes feel a very ethereal, strange luck that plays into certain incidents that happen in my life. It's never like that typical Jupiterian happy-go-lucky luck of finding 100 dollars on the floor or winning the lottery or bumping into your favorite celebrity. It's more of a feeling of being "looked after"...An example: I was once walking in the street with a friend and I was looking at this sign/map or something... Then I walked away but for some odd reason ran back to check it out again. As I was about to walk away from it again, I looked at the floor and found my credit card. I hadn't even realized it fell to begin with. Another influence would be my manner of understanding concepts... I have Pisces Mercury and am a Philosophy major. I realized that it's very difficult for me to understand very specific ideas and details without understanding the Philosopher's project in its entirety. I need to understand the whole before understanding the parts that make up the whole. I'll post some more things as they come to mind. IP: Logged |

@Nine: Well aren't Piscean people kinda excessive... (I mean this in both good and bad way)Like the pisces father is archetypically drunk half of the time but kind-hearted the other half. I'm asking this because neptune stays in a sign for a long time while jupiter stays in a sign for only 1 year IP: Logged |

Another incident...My best friend and I were flying from the US to Abu Dhabi together and we booked the same flight but we couldn't find seats next to each other. So we decided to speak to one of the folks that work by the gate to see if they can fix the issue. Well... Turns out the lady was Sudanese (so am I) and we started chatting and laughing together and... Although there were technically no seats next to each other, she did us a big favor and moved a few people around to get us the two seats... That kinda thing... I have so many of these kinds of stories. They'll all come flooding in sooner or later. IP: Logged |

I'm similar to Nine, ^ I have a virgo asc and Pisces on the dsc.I have Jupiter in Sagittarius square my Pisces moon, mercury and saturn conjunction. Also trine my Aries Sun and Leo Mars. Very strong Jupiter influence. I think Jupiter rules Pisces. To my knowledge, I don't mean to deceive. I just want to make everyone happy but I also don't do anything to fabricate that happiness, unless prompted by family (Jupiter in 4th) That's what Sagittarius does. Fire means action. In water, actions passive. Explains Pisces Mars. What you want to do is just a thought, powered by idealism. It's hard to manifest in Pisces. A lot of Pisces take to the arts. Abstract, indirect things to which they unfold wisdom. Neptune I think makes Pisces seem way too grandeur. Sure we are quite spiritual but I see that in Jupiter too. A lot of people forget Jupiter is about wisdom because they dumb down Sags, who tend to grow wiser with age from what I've seen.

I have a lot of similar stories to this, including the airplane story I emailed you about. But to answer OP's question, I feel it is very philosophical based, and a lot of it comes out in my studies and writing Mercury trine Jupiter. So most of my luck comes from being able to convey the right words to do well on assignments, seal projects and partnerships, and communicate to others the lessons I am instructing. IP: Logged |

Hmmm.. I think Jupiter makes me philosophical. I love to engage in discussions and share knowledge. I get inspired and get grand ideas, and keep making future plans. I guess I have been lucky with my career. I find great opportunities and so far I have no problem getting myself go up the ladder so to speak.. I always thought I'm expressing Sag quality and not really the Jupiter quality..? I have Pisces stellium + Sag Rising, with Jupiter in Aquarius 2nd House. According to astro.com, my Jupiter semisextil the Pisces stellium. IP: Logged |

without quoting everyone, since that'd make the post quite long, I think it is very interesting that you feel like someone is watching you because many Pisces ascendant *feel like they were abandoned when they were younger ... or taken advantaged of.IP: Logged |
