What is your thought on Mars in Scorpio. All comments would be appreciated as I am learning about Astrology.
Does the degrees where the Scorpio in Mars placed have an effect on it? Mars:18° 34' in Scorpio

Not saying all men are dogs who compulsively hump any leg they can, but plenty are, and all their being romantic and stuff is just what they call "game" so they can "score." I found it odd that even gay men who want a more romantic and monogamous relationship would have such trouble finding each other, too, but even they kept falling to the men who wanted to use & lose them.

But then what I've noticed in many cases where this is overwhelming (be it for a man or woman) is that they tend to be passive who want the bees to come to them, the pretty flower. Which means the more aggressive guys, especially those seeking new ways to score, are the most likely to go to them. Being generally unprincipled these men will use any "game" (tell you what you want to hear) to make her (or him) think it's more than just sex until he has what he wants and moves on to the next game.

All I hear is bad things from having a mars in scorpio. A friend of mine has a mars a scorpio and he is revengeful, jealous and etc ...I am so not that. The passion that I hold is to do good. Heck I am getting in the medical field to try and save people rather than destroy them… But after seeing so many negative things about it , I wondered and asked what other people thought about it .

Every sign has problems in love wise. But I feel that people with more scorpio will seem to attract unintentionally things their way without them even knowing it. I am not the type to sit and wait for prince charming( Heck I doubt he exist), but I do want to find that person that can fulfill a part of me , I know he is out there. You said that "The best way around this is to find ways to connect to men who actually have things in common with you and NOT being a passive wallflower waiting for a bee to find you", I am not passive at all, but I try work around my current life situation. I have a son with some special needs and I cannot go out and meet people every day. When I am not in school or working , I try to go out every now and then. and when I do meet men who have things in common after a while then they leave. Although all of them have comeback to apologize for leaving. I just wondered what brought them in the first place. Is there something I should do differently? Or maybe its a sign phase? Or does the sign had anything to do with it… That was my question,
One thing I might need to make it clear, I am not saying that every guy I meet is bad, just because one is not right for us does not make him bad. And we are human sexual attraction is in our nature , but as I am learning about astrology, the only way for us to learn besides reading about it. is asking questions.

i think it has more to do with aspects to 7th house or signs in 7th house or 5th house

I hear that people with saturn in 7th house gets beaten to the pulp in their love life.

As for me, I have rahu in 7th house, and it's almost impossible for me to be happy in relationships

It doesn't really help because it's much easier to look at a chart than read a list of aspects, honestly. If you're concerned about anonymity then you can easily clip out the relevant information using an image editing or screenshot program.

Speaking as someone with Mars in Scorpio ... I would agree that this is not a Mars in Scorpio issue. It is hard to quantify "unlucky in love" aspects since astrology is so extensive but mostly I would point to an afflicted Venus or 7th house, probably with Saturn or Uranus involved. Possibly Neptune too.

I say this because I have a Mars in Scorpio and I have always been very lucky in love. I have an emphasized 7th house, though, and pretty good Venus aspects. I would look there. Good luck and I would love to see your chart.

As for the mars in scorpio. So you are lucky, Pixie up did make sense about the more scorpio you have the harder it can be... Do you have more scorpios in any of your planets?

One, all I said was a general statement and doesn't take things like houses, aspects, and the like into account which can modify it.

Two, it's not either/or. You can both want to help people but still want to destroy one person you feel wronged by. Only in the most extreme cases will a person be very consistent with such impulses.
